"You gave me a heart-attack" riley said. "Sorry" he said muffled. She sat there silent. It had been a bit awkward between her and Loki, did he hate her or something. She didn't know. She wasn't looking at him. She stared at the ground. She felt drozy. "Umm.. Well it's my freinds wedding tommorow, I'm the maid of honour and we'll I got a plus one, would you want to come with me" Riley said. She stole a glance at him. He was looking at her. "I think Peter would be much more suitable" loki said. Riley raised her head. The feeling of tiredness felt like it had washed away, but it still showed her eyes wore bags and dark circles under them. "Suitable, what the hell is that meant to mean" Riley said. Loki wasn't looking at her now "I'm not good for you" loki emitted. She froze, she knew it, "I think what you realy want to say is that I'm not at the same level as you anymore, just a mere mortal now" she said and without a secound glance she stormed off.

She ran to her room closed the door, but didn't lock it and leant against it, she sobbed. It was about midnight now, 5 hours she had to sleep, but all she did was cry, like Jess said, screw loki. She felt pressure lean against the other side of the door. Loki must of sat down there. She tried to mute her sobs as best as she could so Loki wouldn't know he had caused her pain. And then soon she fell exhausted and fell asleep against the door.

Loki walked in and sighed, she was just lying on the floor now, tear stains still on her eyes. He picked her up and placed her in her bed. He didn't want to leave her. But what Peter had told him the other night was right:

"Loki, your not right for her, she's young and your like 1000 years old, and everything that comes with you is trouble, you could put her in danger, I could protect her, keep her safe, let her have a semi-normal life" peter said.

The memory flashed in his head. He sighed and left the room.

The wedding came, Riley invited Wanda in the end. Who needed guys. Jessica looked stunning in her wedding dress. And then it came. Riley walked down the aisle holding flowers, then followed by Jessica. Nathan stood waiting and smiling for his bride. The ceremony was beautiful, it took place on a beach. Riley was so happy for Jessica. And that is what she was going to stay happy. She was going to be happy always, no tears she'd, no drama or argumentss, she'd always wear a smile on her face. Even if she didn't want to. No one was going to hurt her anymore. Screw loki, screw Peter, screw age, screw life, screw everything. She was going to be Riley friken hill.
