Chapter 28~Transfer Energy

Riley awoke her head throbbed and then everything came rushing back in, how she forgotten what had happened, forgotten who Loki and Bruce were, but now she remembered. She looked around and realised peter was there sitting in a chair, he had fallen asleep. She looked at him and felt a unsure twinge, she still didnt know what was going on between them, but maybe it wasn't the time, she checked her watch, 5 am it read.

Riley got out of bed she felt alot better but she needed some water, she slipped out the room and went to the kitchen grabbing a drink. She washed the cup at then sighed. She leaned her hands against the cool counter for a secound then brought them to her head, cooling her. "Riley" someone said and she jumped. "Um sorry" said loki. "Loki, god, I-am so sorry-I forgot you and" she became tears welling in her eyes. "Shhh, calm down, it wasn't you trying to forget me it was your powers but it's ok now" loki said. He pulled her into a hug, she leaned on his shoulder, she felt comforted, then they broke apart. "You should go back to sleep" loki said and with a little grin walked away.

Riley got back in bed but didn't lie down, her mind went to her powers, did she still have them. She pointed her palm to the ceiling and in a secound a small flame danced across her hand before suddenly getting bigger and bigger until she scrunched her hand into a ball enguishing the flame. She had less power but the difference was now she was feeling week any time she used it. She looked down at the hammer like thors but smaller on her desk she picked it up and then she felt filled up she put the hammer down and then tried the flame again, it was massive a fireball, it hit her. The energy had found the hammer to latch onto but left some in her, when she touched the hammer the energy would go to her. She smiled.

Peter awoke, he yawned and stretched he looked over to Rileys bed, she was sitting on the edge of it looking the other way she was playing with a little peice of fire in her hand. He smiled, he walked over to herand sat next to her. She smiled, "Heads up I remember everything" she said. He smiled at her.

Riley went out her room with Peter, the others were up. They smiled at Riley loki had already told them she was back to normal. "You still have magic hands" Thor joked making explosion sounds. She made a fireball appear in her hand, even though this was weakining her a bit she smiled "Want this at your face to make sure it works properly" she joked and he smiled.

Riley wasn't planning on telling anyone she felt weak using her powers, she would just have to act strong.
