Chapter 48~Court

Nick came and talked to her, seeing how she was. Bucky came on behalf of the others, they were in the middle of a mission right now. And soon the visit ended. Riley retreated back to the prison area.

"How is she" Nat said. She's and the others had just come in finding bucky. "She's coping she said, but she looks like hell, have her ears is off that place is brutal" he said. They all hated this, but they were going to get her out for sure.

Riley acted all ok inside the prison, but that was her sheild, she was breaking on the inside. She wanted to get out and save her mum, but the longer she stayed there, the more she kept realising it wasn't possible now, it was too late.

She lay on the bottom bunk in a small room with no doors. Jessica lay on the bunk above smoking a fag she had smuggled in. "Jess, can I have one" she said sitting up. "Sure" she said. She light one for Riley and passed it. As soon as she inhaled it she wanted to cough and spluttered by reframed herself from doing it. The smell of cigarites came through her nostrils.

A month later, the trial came. She strode in, her orange jumpsuit still was baggy on her, her hair had grown longer, her eyes wore dark circles underneath them. She had some new bruises on her face. And her ear lay split in half at the top.

She was guided to a little box area where she stood. She wouldn't look up at the stands reserved for freinds and family. What if they didn't show, she didn't want to see the truth. The judge came in and said "To start of the trial, I want to see what you plead Ms Hill, guilty or not guilty" Said the judge. "Guilty" she said and the hall erupted. The judge banged her gravel for silence. "Mr stark, you have some information, the stand is yours" said the judge. She didn't look up but was happy to know Tony was there. She heard him start to speak. "Riley Hill, yes she killed many, but many enimes, it is said that the police officers who arrested her knew she killed Hydra agents, did you know that" he said to the Judge. The judge was quiet for a secound and said "No, but she still killed them if you have more to say, continue". Tony coughed a bit and carried on "Riley is directly under the form signed as an avengers, and as you should know we are a elite team, we stop and sometimes kill the enemy, she was doing her job, but a bit to good, the evidence bag infront off you has the peice paper with her name signed" he said. The judge took a peice a paper from her desk and read it. "Hmm, that is very interesting, but I think we need the jury to decide"
