22: Get Out!

Hailey's pov:

Jack nudged my shoulder and I looked where he was looking. I saw Daniel and Brook kissing and my eyes widened. Crap, Jack wasn't supposed to see that. I quickly went to the window and closed the curtains. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me weird. "There... uh.. there was a couple making out." I quickly came up with an excuse to cover for them and Jack looked at me weird. "Ya and that 'couple' was Brook and Daniel." Jack mumbled and Franny's eyes widened. "Excuse me?" She leaned forward. "That was not Brook. I know what she looks like. Trust me. That wasn't her." I said and Franny leaned back again. "I know what I saw.." Jack whipsered. I sat back down and we talked more. Lav was sleeping at this point so we didn't have to do anything else. Gabbie was really annoying me. She was getting really touchy with Jack and she was aggressively flirting with him. Jack kept trying to push her off but she wouldn't stop. She leaned towards Jack and he jumped up. "GABBIE WHAT THE HELL!?" he yelled. I was furious. Who the hell does she think she is!?

Jack's pov:

"Are you... fucking... SERIOUS!?? Hailey was mad. Like really mad.. I don't blame her. Gabbie is being disgusting. God even when she was angry it was attractive. "How DARE YOU!! I invite you over despite the fact your my boyfriend's ex and you FLIRT WITH HIM THE ENTIRE TIME! I wasn't saying anything this whole time cause I was worried you would take Lav but that was the last straw!"

Brook's pov:

After a couple of hours I started to get out of the water. Daniel was already out of the water and he took a picture of me getting out without warning. "Really?" I said. "You just look so beautiful right now." He said and I blushed. He showed me the picture and I smiled. "I'm going to post that." I said and he laughed.

I put on a shirt and shorts over my bathing suit after I dried myself with a towel. I looked at him for a second and backed up. "No...no don't do it.." I said laughing and he ran after me. I ran away but he caught up and he grabbed me. He picked me up over his shoulder playfully and we both started laughing. "DANI!!!" I say as he takes me back to the house. He opened the door for the house. We went inside laughing and soon noticed that everyone was silent. There was so much tension you could cut the air with a knife. Daniel put me down slowly and I noticed Hailey was in Gabbie's face. "Whoa, whoa, what's going on!?" I exclaimed as I walked closer to them. "Little miss bitch here took on from her friend Franny and decided to try to flirt with my man right in front of me! She tried to kiss him!!" She said and my eyes widened. "Seriously!? Both of you!?" I said. "I knew something like this was gonna happen." I heard Xero mutter and Corbyn nodded. "Gabbie you're a slut. There.. I said it. I mean who does that!" Kelly seemed proud of herself and the girls eyes widened. "EXCUSE ME!" Gabbie yelled. "You heard her." Hailey grabbed Gabbie's hands, pulled her towards the door and Franny followed. "Just get out!" She said and slammed the door on her face. "Was I the only who smelled alcohol on her breath." Kelly broke the silence. "No I smelt it too." I said. Without saying anything Hailey ran upstairs and went into her room with Jack. We both ran up after her and I went to go inside but Jack stopped me. "I got this." "But I-" "Please?" He asked and I nodded. I took a deep breath as he went inside. I know it was stupid but I really wanted to be there for her this time. I felt like I was losing her and I felt like I couldn't help her. I'm happy that Jack can help her though. She definitely deserves him. I weakly smiled and head to Daniel and I's room to take a breath.

Jack's pov:

I rushed into the room and saw Hailey breaking down. "No no.. don't cry... baby I'm here don't worry." I said and she held me tight. "I'm sorry for snapping like that bubba. She just really pissed me off." She said and I stroked her hair out of her face. "I know, angel." I said and she nuzzled into my chest. "I don't even usually snap at people. I just cry." She chuckled a bit and so did I. We just sat there on the bed for a while holding each other and every now and then I would kiss her forehead and say I love you. "Bubba I'm tired. Can we fall asleep?" I asked and her face softened a little. "Yeah of course. I'm just gonna go say goodnight to Brook." She said and she got up. "Yeah good idea. She seemed a bit down." Without saying anything she bolted out the door.

Hailey's pov:

Brook sad? SAD!? No. She can't be sad. I ran to her bedroom and slowly opened the door. As soon as she saw me open the door she quickly wiped away her tears and fake smiled. "Hey Hailey!" Her voice quivered and my face softened. "Seriously? What happened?"

Brook's pov:

That was it. That 'what happened' was enough to get me to cry. I broke down right then and there. I put my head in my hands as I sat on the edge of the bed and I felt Hailey try and pull me up to hug her. I hugged her tight and started to cry even more. "No.. no don't cry.. please I'm gonna cry.. whats wrong?" I mumbled something and she looked at me confused. "What?" She said lifting my head up. "I... it's stupid. It's so stupid and selfish." I said and she gave me a 'Seriously?' look. "I promise you whatever it is it's not going to be stupid. She said wiping my tears. "I... I really don't want to lose you." Her face softened immediately and she held me close again. "What makes you think you're gonna lose me?.." "We haven't been spending time together anymore... we're both always busy and when we do it's always with the other girls. Also.... I tried to come in and help you and.... he meant no harm but... he basically stopped me from coming in and he came in instead." I said while crying and she looked out of the door like she was going to yell at Jack. "Don't be mad at him... he didn't know how I was feeling." I said and she pulled away. She put her hands on my shoulders. "Look at me... you are NEVER going to lose me... I promise. I haven't been making been making effort to spend time with you and I'm really sorry.. I love you.." she said and I smiled. "I love you too, man." We hugged for a while and she wiped my tears away. "I'm gonna go to bed.. you ok now?" She said and I nodded smiling. I washed my face and went to tell Daniel I was going to bed. Without hesitation he came upstairs and came to bed with me.

Hailey's pov:

I didn't care what Brook said. I was annoyed at Jack for not letting her in. I walked into the room not saying anything and went to my bag to get clothes to change into. "Oh you're back! Come here and cudd- Oh shit. You're mad. What happend? Is Brook ok?" Jack asked. "Yep, she's fine now." I clearly sounded annoyed "....Did I do something??" He made a sad face and I tried not smile at how adorable he was being. "Well... I walked into her room and she was crying.... hard." "Oh my God! What happened??" He jumped up a little. "Why didn't you let her in Jack?" I stopped rummaging through my bag and looked at him. "What?" "She feels like you're taking her place... she didn't say it. But I could tell thats why she was upset. You always comfort me. She couldn't help me this one time?" I yelled. "I'm sorry all I wanted to was help! I didn't mean to make her upset!" I stood there and looked at him with a 'Seriously' look. "I'll talk to her tomorrow... I promise okay?" I take a big sigh and I calm down a bit. "I know you didn't mean any harm...Just be nice to her okay? I'm the only person she's ever really had." I say and I walk closer to the bed where he's laying. "I will.. I swear to make sure she never feels like she's losing you again." I lay next to Lav who's now between us and he grabs my hand. "Thank you, bubba." We both took a deep breath and he turned off the light as we both fell asleep quickly.
