65: Blackmail

She looked me in my eyes and I pulled the tickets out of our side table drawer. She looked at the tickets and she teared up even more. She jumped into my arms and kissed me passionately, tears falling down her face. I cupped her face in my hands as we broke the kiss. "Thank you. Thank you so so much bubba. I've always wanted to go you have no idea how much this means to me." She kissed me I few more times and I wiped her tears. "I wanted to do this for you as a little gesture and to try and get you to relax. I wanted to get away with you on.. our first trip together alone." She hugged me tighter and gave me a nice long kiss. "I love you, Jack Avery." She wrapped her legs around me and put her head in my neck. "I love you so much more, Hailey Starz." She stayed there in my arms and I kept kissing her head. "I'm going to go Disneyyy." She said excitedly and I giggled at her cuteness. "Yes, my angel. You are.. and we leave. Tomorrow." She sat up a bit "tomorrow?? Well shit, we need to hurry and pack." She said and my eyes widened a bit. "Right! Packing!" We both got up and packed our bags and within the next two hours, we were finished packing. It was getting late and Brook had still been out. "You think she's okay? It's been a while." Hailey said as we sat on the couch in the living room. "She's probably just having a good time. I'm gonna call her just to be sure-" the door opens and Brook walked in with her head down. She closed the door and immediately rushed up to her room. I and Hailey both looked at each other and immediately walked upstairs. We went into her room and she was on her bed, laying on her back with her face in her hands. "So I take staying with Daniel didn't go well." I laughed and sat on her bed and Hailey flopped next to her.

Brook's pov:

"I told him I loved him." "You what?!" Hailey sat up and smiled, jaw dropped. "Yeah.. but it didn't end well," I told them everything that happened and I got emotional thinking about the fact that I might never get him again. I might never get to be in his warm embrace again. "So you two were fucking? But not in a relationship." I sighed at Jack's words. "It was so much more than that. We weren't dating but. It felt like we were in a way. And I went and screwed everything up by rejecting him." I groaned and rolled into my stomach. "Why did you say no? You obviously want to be with him." Hailey said. "That's the thing. I don't know if I'm ready to dive into a relationship right now. Especially with him.. but fuck do I miss him. I want him but I don't know if I'm ready." I took a deep breath. "Well, all I can say is. Maybe take the night to decide. You may not think you're ready. But if you love him. Which you obviously do. Go get him You need him and he needs you and you two will always end up together. So If you feel it's right. Go for it." Hailey said and she put her hand on my knee. I sat up and wiped a tear that escaped. "I'll think about it." Jack and Hailey smiled and I tried to forget about the whole situation and give my mind a rest. "Aren't you guys leaving tomorrow? You obviously told her right?" Jack nodded. "Yeah, we're all packed and were leaving in the morning." "I'll drop you guys off and take your car back home so you don't have to take a cab. Plus I wanna say bye to you guys at the airport." I said hugging them both and slightly smiling. "I'm so incredibly excited." Hailey said and Jack kissed her head. "You definitely should be." I mumbled and smirked. He widened his eyes signaling me to keep quiet. "We should get going to bed. We have a big day tomorrow." Jack said and got off of the bed, Hailey following. I said goodnight and they left my room.

Jack's pov:

"You were always better at the whole advice thing than I was." I said and kissed her forehead. "I just really hope he doesn't break her heart again. She's already dealt with enough." We got into bed and into each other's arms. "I agree my love. He better be careful." I said and she shook her head. We talked about anything and everything for a little bit and fell asleep in each other's arms.

Daniel's pov:

I toss and turn in my bed trying to fall asleep but all I can think about is her. How I want her back. She left her scent on my sheets. I missed her so much. I couldn't wait until the morning. I quickly sat up and turned my head to look at the time. It was 2 in the morning. I thought about it for a second. I didn't want to wake her. or seem crazy. fuck it. I can't wait any longer. I needed her back. I quickly threw on my clothes and rushed out of my house. I'm walking to my car door when suddenly I'm pulled back and caught off guard when I see a familiar face. "you're going to do exactly what I say. or ill tell her everything. you did."
