26: The Magic of Hawaii

Two weeks later (The day before we leave)...

Brook's pov:

These last two weeks have been crazy. In a good way. We spent most of our time at the beach and touring Hawaii. I also got really good at surfing. I've never been in a better place with Daniel and I also got to spend a lot of time with Lav. Seeing Daniel with her just made my heart so happy. He was so great with kids. Kelly and Zach are becoming an adorable couple. It's like their perfect for each other. Hailey and Jack have also gotten more close and Lav absolutely adores her. Xero won't stop showing her ring to everyone and I could tell Corbyn had never been more in love with her. Kelly and I got to see relatives we haven't even met yet and it was so much fun. We were leaving tomorrow and we were all a little sad, plus Lav was getting picked up today so Jack and Hailey were even more down. It was getting a little dark out and we were all in Jack's living room silently waiting for Gabbie to arrive. Suddenly we heard a knock at the door and I heard Hailey's breath hitch up. I grabbed her hand to calm her down. She looked at me and smiled. Jack went to open the door and as soon as he did Gabbie forced herself in, Franny not far behind. "What are you doing here?!" I blurted out. "I brought her." Gabbie responded with rude tone and my eyebrows raised. I was about to snap back when I felt Daniel rub my back. I took a deep breath. Hailey went to where Lav and Jack were to say bye and start to plan the next time Jack can come. "Daniel can I talk to you for a second?" Franny asked him and my anxiety sky rocketed. "Yeah... sure.." He took a deep breath and followed her to another room. My head started to spin and my chest got heavy. I couldn't help but bite my nails and Jonah noticed. He quickly came and sat next to me and I leaned on his shoulder. "It's gonna be okay...there's no need to worry." He rubbed my shoulder and I took a deep breath to try and calm myself. Hailey came to my other side and also hugged me. "He loves you.. he wouldn't even try anything." she said and I nodded. It's not him I didn't trust. It was her.

Daniel's pov:

I really didn't want to talk to Franny. I knew how uncomfortable and anxious it made Brook. But I knew she would make a scene if I didn't, so I went. "What Fran-" She aggressively planted her lips on mine and I quickly pushed her off. I could taste the alcohol in her breath and it was disgusting. "FRANNY WHAT THE HELL?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID?!" I started to get a little teary as I pictured how Brook would react. "Oh come on! I can tell you're not happy with her.. Don't lie to yourself." She whispered the last part and tried to put her hands on my chest but I didn't let her. "I'm so happy with her... she completes me.... AND YOU JUST RUINED EVERYTHING!" I started to get emotional. I didn't want to lose her because of Franny. I really didn't. "UGH... Whatever.. you're gonna regret this.." She said as she walked out, not long after I did too. Shit. I cant believe that just happened. I'm gonna tell Brook when we get home. I'm not going to let Franny ruin this trip before we even leave. I sat down next to Brook and put my arm around her. "You okay?" She smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat. "Yeah.." I'm not. I'm really not.

Brook's pov:

Daniel sat down next to me and he seemed very tense. I hope she didn't do anything to him. We all got up and went to the door to say bye to Lav. I hugged her tight and almost started crying. Hailey and Jack were the last ones to say bye to her and they group hugged like a family. Hailey started crying and Jack kissed her forehead as he was also getting emotional. Gabbie rolled her eyes but no one cared. She took Lav and Franny and left. That was it.

Jack's pov:

This was the worst part. Getting Lav taken away. No matter how many times it happened, it always hurt the same. I slowly walked upstairs as I felt tears start to go down my face. I started to cry with my head in my hands and felt arms wrap around me. I looked up and smiled a little when I saw Hailey. I hugged her back and started to cry into her shoulder. "I miss her so much already.." "I know baby.. I know.." She hugged and comforted me until I stopped crying. I took a deep breath and she kissed my forehead. "I love you so much baby.." I hugged her again and she smiled. "I love you too."

Brook's pov:

The rest of the night was quieter then before. We all just stayed in and watched movies. After a while we all went to our rooms. Daniel was acting weird. He was really tense and he seemed distracted. No matter how many times I would ask him he wouldn't tell me. I was getting a little worried. I started to wash my face and I saw something of his. "Baby?.... Baby?" I made a pouty face as I stood in the doorway of the bathroom. "What's up?" I showed him the cardigan I was hiding behind my back and he laughed a little. "Can I please wear this?" I asked making a sad face and he nodded. "You're adorable, you know that right?" "Only when I want to be." I laughed. I got into bed next to him and started to kiss him slowly. I went to get on top of him but he stopped me. "N-not tonight princess.. I'm really exhausted." He looked a little sad. "O- okay my love." I nodded and kissed his cheek. Weird. He never says no. He must really be tired.

I woke up early the next morning to see everyone else already awake. I woke up super sad. I really didn't want to leave Hawaii yet. This place was so magical. Without changing out of Daniel's cardigan, I packed up my things like everyone else and went downstairs. "I'm really gonna miss this place." Jonah broke the silence and we all nodded in agreement. We walked out of the door, Jack and Hailey being the last. We all got in the car and I had to sit on Daniel's lap again or everyone threatened to call me 'Mom' the whole way home and of course it was Zach's idea. It was too early for this. I put my head on Daniel's shoulder and fell asleep pretty quickly.

"I'M TELLING YOU THEY KISSED!" "Jack shut up she's sleeping." Daniel whisper yelled as he played with my hair. I slowly woke up and rubbed my eyes. "Who kissed who?" I asked and put my head back down. "You two!" "Us!?" I took a deep breath. "Okay... you caught us..." I said and all of their eyes widened, including Daniel's. "We kissed. But that's all it was..." I explained. "SEE! I TOLD YOU!" Hailey rolled her eyes. "Just a kiss my ass.." Daniel whispered in my ear and I laughed. "I don't blame you... I mean he threw you in the water.." "How long were you watching us you creep?" Daniel and Jack went back and forth and I started to drift off again.

"Hey... hey, we're here." He whispered and I slowly got up. We all got out of the car and grabbed our bags. I was still tired. I'm definitely not a morning person. They all walked into the airport but before I did I looked around one last time. "Bye Hawaii... I'm going to miss your magic.." "Hey Brook. You coming?" I turned around and saw Jonah. I sadly smiled and nodded and I walked into the airport. After a while we started to get on the plane. I went to sit next to Daniel but Jack stopped me. "That's my seat.." "Then.. where am I sitting?" I looked around and saw Hailey waving to me as the seat next to her was empty. "Jack.. You really didn't have t-" "Don't mention it." We both smiled and I hugged him. I excitedly walked over to Hailey and put my carry-on in the over head compartment. I sat down next her and she smirked. "So... Daniel's cardigan.... huh.." "Shut up.." We both laughed.

The flight was over. We were home. We got off the plane and I went to Daniel. I hugged him and smiled but he still seemed a bit distracted. "How was the flight?" "Huh? oh. It was good... What about you." "Baby, are you okay? You seem a bit off-"

Ring Ring.

"Hold on, one second." It was a unknown number. Weird. "Hello?" "Brook-Lyn is that you?" I heard a very familiar voice. "Franny?!" Daniel's eyes widened. "How the hell did you get my nu-" "Something happened between Daniel and I that you need to hear."

A.N.  sooooo... I'm grounded. I got my phone and laptop taken away and the only time I get my laptop is for school. I cant respond to any dm's or messages. My mom is being an amazing human and letting me write so I will as much as I can. I'm an idiot LOL. also I don't want to hate on Franny in any way. I know she would never do anything like this but i needed +.*Plot*.+ please don't hate me.
