Time passed as I layed on the couch, my eyes felt heavy and I was falling asleep. I felt my body almost fully relax and my phone made a noise. I groaned and opened the message without checking who it was. It was Jack.

The water fountain. I knew where that was. There was a beautiful huge water fountain not to far from our hotel and it lit up at night. You couldn't miss it. I sat here and waited the time away, hoping he would take another exit so I didn't have to see him leave the hotel. Eventually it had been ten minutes later and I started walked toward the fountain. I hated being out alone, at night. It scared me. I does up my pace trying to hurry so I didn't have to be alone for long. I walked closer and I saw someone in a suit and tie holding a guitar. The closer I walked the more clear it was. The man was Jack. I cracked a small smile as I saw the lights coming from the candles and the fountain. As I finally got there, before I could say anything, he grabbed his guitar and looked into my eyes. "Don't say anything. Just listen to me." He said smiling at the sight of me. He started strumming and he hit play on his speaker. My mouth opened a little as I immediately recognized the song."The sun is setting. And you're right here by my side. And the movie is playing. We always slow dance to this song and I always sing it to him. All the times where I was scared or going through a hard time. He would sing this song to me or it would be the other way around. Moonlight."He came closer to me and slowly walked around me as he sang and I looked into his eyes. I felt my heart race and my love for him rushing back into me like a waterfall.. and then I remembered what he did. I cant gi running back to him. I can't."I kiss his fingertips. As I'm wishing he's all mine. He's giving me ElvisWith some James Dean in his eyes. Puts his lips on my neck. Makes me want to give him my body. I be fallin' for you, baby. And I just can't stop."He put the guitar down and the music continued from his speaker and he put his hands on my waist as his voice serenaded me. Tears fell from eyes eyes and I smiled as I put my forehead to his. It felt as if everything in this moment was okay. Like nothing bad had happened earlier. Like I had the old him back."He's so bossy. He makes me dance. Tryna sit in the back of his whip. And just cancel my plans. Sweet like candy. But he's such a man. He knows just what it does. When he's holding me tight. And he calls me "Moonlight" too."We swayed in each other's arms as I looked into his eyes. I put one hand on the back of his neck and the other on his chest, as his hands were on my waist. The song finished, both if us in tears. He kissed me. Slowly, and I put my hand in his hear. He put his hand on my back and leaned forward so I would dip a bit. We broke the kiss, our eyes slowly opening, just to meet each other again. My smile slowly dropped and I remembered what he did earlier. That he couldn't be a cheater. I lightly pushed him off looked down. "I love you. So much." He said coming closer to me. "I love you too.." I said like more of a whisper and my eyes were still glued to my feet. "I'm sorry. For the whole fight it was so stupid. I never kissed her. I swear to God I never fucking kissed her." I finally looked up at him. "Then why would you say you did?" He took a deep breath. "It was in the moment. It was really fucking stupid of me and it was me making shit up because I wanted to.. I don't know make you angry too? It was a real ass move and I'm sorry. It just really set me off guard that you though I only proposed because of the mini us inside you. Baby, I've been wanting to marry you for months. I want you. For the rest of my life. Baby or not. No matter what anyone says, okay?" I looked up and him and nodded putting my arms around his neck. "So you didn't kiss her?" I gave him a questioning look. "No, never. I would never be disloyal like that to you." He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and smiled. "I believe you." I kissed him and we both smiled into the kiss, holding each other. "So.. we're okay?" He asked and I nodded. "We're okay, sweetheart.."

Later...

I smiled in his arms, greatful that all of the drama was over (yeah right) and I nuzzled into his chest. "Thank you, love. For taking me back. For staying with me. Thank you." I looked up at him and kissed him. "Don't ever thank me. I'll always come home to you. No matter what." I leaned him to meet his lips once again but was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Who the hell is here this late?" I said whisper yelling and he shrugged his shoulders. "Just stay here. I'll get it, okay?" I nodded and he went to the door and held the handle. He turned back to look at me and smiled slightly, clearly scares but trying to hide it. "I love you, Hailey." I smile back at him. "I love you more, Jack." He took a deep breath and opened the door and my heart sank. What the fuck was she doing here? "Hi, Jack I heard what happened and-" She said with a voice of fake sympathy and paused when she saw me. "What is she still doing here?" I looked at her slightly scared trying to look annoyed. "No, Gabbie. The question is what the fuck are you doing here?" She rolled her eyes. "I thought I told you he didn't want to marry you." "And I thought I told you to fucking back off." I snapped back and she raised her eyebrows. "Grown a pair I see." She said sounding fake impressed. "Gabbie get out." Jack said standing in between her and I, facing her. "Oh hell no. This bitch ruined my fucking plan and took you away again." She pushed past Jack and came close to me. "Fucking bitch! You ruined everything you slut!" She pushed me onto the bed and I felt tears come to my eyes. "GABBIE GET OUT!!" Jack yelled and she turned to look at him and laughed. She looked back at me and walked closer. "Pathetic. I'm surprised he hasn't left your ass yet. Oh well. Soon enough.." she turned back to jack "I'll have him on bending backwards for me again.." she smirked and put her hands on his chest. I shot up front the bed and pulled her away by her shoulder to face me again. Her eyes wide she raised her hand and just as she was about to slap me, Jack grabbed her hand and held it in the air. "GABBIE GET THE FUCK OUT RIGHT NOW OR I'M CALLING THE DAMN POLICE!" Jack yelled and she raised her eyebrows at him. She looked at him fir a second in slight disbelief and and scoffed. "You'll want me back soon enough.." she dragged her fingers across his chest and walked out of the door. I looked at Jack and ran into his embrace finally letting the tears go.Jack's pov:"Shhh she can't hurt you. I won't let her." She held onto me and I held her up as she sobbed into my chest. "Please don't leave me for her, please.." I pulled away a bit so I could hold her cheeks in my hands and I kissed her tears. "My bubba. I'm never ever leaving you, let alone for someone else. My heart and my soul have been promised to you and you only. That's what this means.." I held her hand up and kiss her engagement ring. "It means I want to make you mine for the rest of my life.." I placed a long kiss on her lips and rested my forhead against hers. "I love you forever.. I love you for always.. as long as I'm living.." I looked into her eyes. "..my baby you'll be." She smiled and laughed a little. "I love you so much, Jack Avery." She sighed happily and put her hand on her cheek. "I love you so much more Hailey Starz.."
