55: I Hope So

Two weeks later...

Hailey's pov:

We were in a room in the church and the wedding was an hour away. Xero was in a bathroom and Kelly was helping her put her dress on. The guys were with Corbyn helping him get ready and when I saw him last he was a nervous wreck. It was hilarious. Brook was running very late and I couldn't help but blame myself. She was getting something for me very last minute. I was sitting in my maid of honor dress waiting for Brook. I got more and more nervous. Xero walked out of the bathroom Kelly not far behind. My jaw dropped as I saw how gorgeous she looked. "So? What do ya think?" She did a little spin and smiled as she saw herself in the mirror. "I think she looks great." Kelly said and I nodded in agreement. "You look beautiful, Xero." I said and held her hand. "Thanks guys... Holy shit I'm about to get marri-" Brook walked in with multiple bags and an embarrassed look on her face. She struggled to close the door as both her hands were full and she was out of breath. I immediately rushed to her side. "Did you get it?" I whipsered. "I had to go to like three different stores but, yea. This was the last one." She whispered back and I took a slight sigh of relief. "You're a life save-" "It's about damn time you showed up!" Xero said and she rolled her eyes. "Okay first of all, you look HOT. Second, I'm so, so, so, sorry." Brook said and she scoffed. "Where even were you anyway, Brook?" She widened her eyes a bit as we both rushed to come up with an excuse. "She was... um.." I mumbled. "I went to uhm.. the store. I needed some.. uh.." "I needed pads!" I blurted out. I didn't want Brook to have to take the blame since she was already in shit for being late. "Don't tell me she's going to believe tha-" "Oh! You should've just asked me!" Xero interrupted Brook and she made a surprised look. "I didn't want to stress you out more then you already were." I said and she smiled at me. "You want to go check now?" Brook whispered. "Yes please." We went to go outside and to a different bathroom. "Where do you think you're going?" Xero said and we both turned around. "I- I need Hailey's help to put on my dress." Brook said and Xero made an annoyed look. "Okay, whatever. Just don't be too long." We walked out without saying anything. "What crawled up her ass and died." Brook said and I laughed. "She's just stressed about the wedding." We walked to a bathroom and she handed me a pregnancy test. "Are you sure you want to do this right now?" Brook said. I took a deep breath and nodded. "Okay. I'll be right out here waiting okay?" She said and I nodded. "Thanks again, Brook." "Don't thank me. Now hurry before Xero kills us both." She said and I rushed into the bathroom laughing. I took the test out of the box and took a deep breath. Here goes nothing.

Brook's pov:

I stood outside the bathroom waiting for my best friend to tell me if she's pregnant or not. My palms got sweaty and I was getting super nervous. She's been really nauseous lately and she hasn't had her period in while. Minutes passed and she opened the door and I immediately walked in. "Now we wait." She said. I held her hand and we waited together. A few minutes passed and she looked at me nervously. She went to look at it but she stopped right away. "Can you look at it for me? I'm too nervous to." I nodded and grabbed the test.

Hailey's pov:

Brook looked at the test and her eyes widened. Her eyes got teary and she covered her mouth. "Oh my God." I grabbed the test from her and covered my mouth as tears brimmed my eyes. My heart started racing as I got more and more anxious. "I'm.. I'm pregnant?" Brook nodded her head and we hugged. She kissed her hand and put it on my stomach. She smiled at me, tears in her eyes. "You're gonna be a mom." "Brook, me and Jack wanted to wait until marriage. What if he leaves me?" I started to cry a bit. I was so scared. "I know Jack. If anything he's going to be overjoyed. Trust me." "I just can't lose him. He's literally the love of my life and I've never felt this way about anyone. Ever." She wiped the tears off of my cheeks. "He feels the exact same way about you. He's your soulmate and you're his. This is perfect." She said and I smiled. "You're right. I hope this doesn't push him away. What if this adds on to his stress and anxiety?" "Remember, he won't be going through this alone and neither will you. We're all going to help. Just like.. just like you would with me." I smiled at what she said but quickly realized what Brook was thinking about. It completely slipped my mind that she just lost a baby not to long ago. "Oh, Brook I'm so sorry I didn't even think-" "Don't worry. It's fine... I'm fine, I promise." "Are you sure Brook?" She nodded and hugged me again. "Everything will be fine. I know it wi-" "CAN YOU GUYS HURRY UP?!" Xero knocked on the door aggressively and it scared us both. "SORRY!" I yelled and rolled my eyes. We both laughed. "Let's hurry up and get your dress on before Xero has a riot." I said and we giggled. "I can't believe I'm having a baby. And with Jack, none the less." I said as I stared at the positive "I'm telling you this is meant to be. I know it is." She said as she took the dress out of the other bag she had. "That is a beautiful dress." "Thank you. I was kinda bummed at first when Xero didn't ask me to be her bridesmaid, but I decided the best way to take it was to feel like a badass in this dress." "You're so right." She started to change into her clothes and I got the dress ready. She put the dress on and my eyes widened. "Brook you're not supposed to look better then the bride." Her eyes widened. "HAILEY!" We both started laughing. "IT WAS A JOKE. CALM DOWN." She shook her head. "But don't cut yourself short either. You look HOT." Brook said. "Thank you, thank you." She hugged me from behind and rested her head on my shoulder. "You're going to be an amazing mother." She said and I smiled. I hope so.
