67: Slow Down

Jack's pov:

We got back into our hotel, smiling and lauging. I closed the door and I was immediately pulled by Hailey, into her arms. Kissing me passionately, she put her hand in my hair and I put mine on her waist, pulling her closer. We pull away from the kiss and she smiled. "I had an absolutely amazing day today, baby. Thank you so much. Seriously." My face softened and I hugged her. "Don't you dare thank me, sweetheart. I'm so glad you had fun. That's all I wanted." I pulled away a little and she pecked my lips. "I'm going to go change into some more comfortable clothes and wash up a bit. I wanna cuddle and maybe watch some TV and just relax." We pulled away from the hug and I saw Hailey grab her speaker before she went into the bathroom. I laid on the bed, grabbing the remote, and began channel surfing.

Hailey's pov:

I connected my phone to my speaker and went to the specific part in my playlist. I knew what I was doing. I hut play and the trumpets started going. "Great. More Disney music." I could practically hear Jack roll his eyes and I laughed. Definitely Disney music. The trumpets faded into the real song and after a few seconds I heard the bed creak, indicating that he had gotten up.

'Tell me what it is you wanna know. Finish up the bottle then we'll go, babe. Waste a little money on some blow. She said, "Won't you have a little?" I said, "No way".'

I watched him as he walked into the bathroom and immediately put his hands on my hips, slowly kissing my shoulders. "I knew you would do this." I said slightly laughing.

'I'm too phased, it's too late. But coming down is all I ever do, babe, yeah. And I'm so down if you're ready. I'm floating but I'm heavy. And I'll show you if you let me, girl'

"Do.. what?" He mumbled in between kisses as his hand slowly wandered down. "Doubt the song and then do.. this." I smirked and so did he, his warm breath against my skin giving me chills.

'Slow down, slow down. I'm about to show you, baby, slow down. Slow down, slow down. I'm about to show you, baby, slow down..'

"All I'll be 'doing' is you." He turn back around and aggressively placed his lips on mine, sitting me on the counter. He aggressively kissed me and I leaned against the mirror more and he lowered his head..

We both made it to bed. Out of breath, me nearly falling asleep. "Wow that was.. amazing." I said cuddling into his chest. "Every time with you is amazing, my love." He kissed my head and I felt him reach to the side table to grab his phone. "Oh shit. 6 missed calls from Brook." "BUBBA-" I lifted my head up looning at him. "I was busy FUCKING YOU WOMAN." We both laughed and Jack dialed her number and after a few rings she picked up.

Brook's pov:

I was alone at home. My cheeks stained with tears and staring blankly in front of me. The events from going to Daniel's played in my head. My heart still hurt. I tried calling Jack and haikey but neither of them answered. I'm not upset. They're having fun and that's great. I just need them. I jumped as I heard my phone ring and hesitated to check who is was, assuming it was Daniel again. I got ready to decline the call, before I saw that it was Jack. "B-bubs?" I said my voice shakey and weak, the fact the ive been crying very obvious. "Bubby? Are you okay?" I felt the tears come to my eyes again and I broke down. "She was there bubby. I wanted him and she was there." I rambled and sobbed. "Brook? You're on speaker and were both here. Take a deep breath and tell us what happened. We're here, love." I took a shakey breath and layed down. "There you go. Take your time we're here. Now tell us everything that happened." Jack said and I took another breath. "After you guys left..."

I decided that I wanted him. I wanted to try us and give it a shot. I didnt want to spend the rest if my life thinking 'what if'. So I went straight to his house. I knocked and I opened that door and its like I felt my heart breaking all over again. It was her. Franny. She open the door with a smirk on her face and I looked over her shoulder and say Daniel half naked on the couch. Tears formed in my eyes and I almost screamed. "Brook? Oh my God." He said and jumped up from the couch rushing on his pants. "Brook wait! Please!" He pushed her out of the way and ran to me as I ran into my car. "LEAVE ME ALONE! GO AWAY DANIEL-" before I could open the front door I felt my hand get pulled and he put his lips on mine. I pushed him off and cried even harder. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME! HOW COULD YOU!" I pushed his shoulder with my finger. He stood there saying nothing tears forming in his eyes. "Just leave me the fuck alone." I said getting into the front seat and I drove away. "Go away! You ruined everything!" He yelled as Franny tried to comfort him. I drove home in tears not knowing what to do. The whole drive I was shaking and my heart was hurting. It was pouring rain and the thunder was crashing. I slammed my car door shut and ran into my house getting soaked along the way. I closed my door and fell against it head in my hands.
