Chapter 02:
I scoffed. Damn, she has told me that for about ten times already! Ano? Tangina, I can never understand women's emotions.
"Oh? I asked.
She glared at me with her bloodshot eyes. "Of course, I just told that because I wanted him to chase his dreams!" umiwas siya ng tingin sa akin. I don't want someone to control me like that; to know everytime my whereabouts and who I am with, or what I am doing.
I smirked. Dapat lang na ayaw mo na sa kan'ya.
"Oh, anong plano mo ngayon?"
She looked at me. After that, I can find a work to support me in my plans to study in a law school."
Law...
Law school...
Damn, my heart beats wilder now. I can't believe I met someone like her who's interested in entering law school. I shifted from my seat as I faced her completely.
"Then forget about him."
She smiled before looking away again. "Parang ang dali naman niyan."
"Eh 'di gawin nating madali," she looked at me again, confused, like I said something she never heard in her whole life. "Just tell me that you want to forget him, then I'll make it easy for you. Kung gusto, laging may paraan, hindi ba?"
She gulped repeatedly, staring back at me the way I did.
I'm just someone who you met in the bar."
I chuckled. "I will never come here for you if I think of you just like that. You're not just someone who I met in the bar."
She smiled a little. "Then who am I for you?"
I smiled as I looked at her eyes directly, trying to know my thoughts. "You're someone I wanted to know more."
I wiped her tears with my thumb, making her stiffened on her seat. She looked away. She wiped her own tears with the tissue she got inside her bag, before she talked.
"L-Let's just study."
She unbuckled her seatbelt before she opened the door to come out of the car. I chuckled before I followed her outside after locking the car. After that, bumalik na ako sa table naming dalawa.
"Where's your books?" tanong niya habang may kinukuha sa bag.
I chuckled. "Wala. Tapos na ang exam ko."
Umirap siya. "Akala ko ba, sabay tayong mag-aaral?"
"Eh 'di next time, mag-aaral na talaga tayo nang sabay."
