Chapter 26:

The next day, Lily and I met on her unit. She has her usual red lip thing on her lips that always makes her lips fresh, looks plump and kissable. I immediately kiss her as soon as I entered her unit nd remove everything on her lips.

Damn, my Lily really can't live a day without putting that thing on her lips. Kahit wala naman siyang pupuntahan, lagi siyang naglalagay no'n.

"Bwisit ka, kalalagay ko lang ng tint!" reklamo niya.

I laughed before wiping her lips with my thumb finger. "You shouldn't really put that. Hindi ka ba nanghihinayang sa pinambibili mo niyan?" I said, joking.

She rolled her eyes at me. "Maganda kasi 'yung may gano'n. Hindi bagay sa akin ang walang lip tint, or kahit lip balm."

I shrugged. "It didn't really matter to me how you look with or without that."

She pinched my side waist that made me laugh, then we cuddle and watch movies.

She cooked me foods for breakfast, lunch, and we had a candlelight dinner by evening. We slept together since we're using these few weeks left before we'll enrol together for law school.

I can't believe I passed my first year without failing a subject. I owe Lily for helping me with few of my digests. I'd probably fail without her since I'll need to do digests and readings at the same time.

It's 01:20 a.m. and Lily's sleeping soundly beside me. We're facing each other and her hands are on her chest, holding the comforter, trying to cover her body since we made love before we decided to sleep. The sight of Lily's collarbone is one of the best things that eyes always saw, and my lips have always kissed.

I smiled while looking at her. I caressed her cheek with my left hand. I sighed.

"I'm so blessed to have you," I told her before I kissed her forehead.

Lily moved since she might've heard me but of course, she's sleeping. She won't remember everything when she woke up—like a drunk woman experiencing her hang over from being too drunk to do stupid things.

Lily's arm wrap around my body as she hugged me. She laid her head on my chest as she slightly moaned in her sleepy tone.

"I am, too," she answered.

I gulped as I felt my heart started beating wilder. I wrapped my arms around her to hug her back, smiling after I heard it.

Should I make the most out of this opportunity that she's answering me with her realest self? The Lily that is sleeping but the one that couldn't lie?

"Do you love me?" I asked her, staring at her sleeping face.

"I do..." she answered in her faint voice. "Love you..." she added in a weaker voice.

Damn... ako pa rin naman 'yong sinasabihan niya, 'di ba?

"Do you know me?" I asked.

"Luke..." she responded.

I looked at her face and her mouth are slightly parted, a sign that she's sleeping soundly. It doesn't seem like she's awake and she's faking her sleep. Her eyes are very firm and she's not moving a bit.

There's not a sign of her, faking her sleep. I've known her for almost two years and I've been sleeping with her for more than a year so I know when she's faking her sleep and when she's responding to me even when she's sleeping.

This has been her love language. I, really, am blessed... to have such a woman in my life like her... and she's mine.

I smiled before kissing her forehead. "Mahal na mahal kita."
