Chapter 10:
I thought that it would ease my mind but it only made me feel frustrated. I tried calling her but her phone is off. Damn it!
When I went out of my room, I realized that I am alone now.
They actually told me that they'll try to come here before the Christmas Eve but I told them that it's okay. Celebrating holidays alone is never a problem to me. I just thought that these holidays were just normal days. I've never really look at it like a special day to celebrate.
I sighed when I catch a glimpse of my iMesage. Damn, what the hell happened to her, really? Is she okay? I sighed as I get a glass and pour some cold water in it.
Should I go to Baguio? Fuck, sobrang traffic ngayon do'n! I drank the water from my glass.
Pero nag-aalala din ako kay Twila. Ano na bang nangyari sa kan'ya? I checked the time on my wrist watch and it's 7:32 in the morning. I still have time. Siguro naman, makakarating ako ro'n by afternoon. I can just book a hotel for my room accommodation.
I should really go to Baguio and check for my girlfriend. I can't just sit here and relax until she text me back. I need to go there so that the questions in my mind will be answered.
As I ride the elevator, I booked a hotel room for my stay there but all hotels are fucking fully booked! Damn it, I need to drink back and fucking forth again!
Mabilis lang ang pagdi-drive ko. Surprisingly, it wasn't that heavy traffic in EDSA. Maybe because the people here already come home yesterday to their hometown with their family. Well, traffic pa rin naman but it's tolerable.
I can arrive in Baguio by 1:00 p.m. the earliest.
Few hours of driving and I saw the giant Lion's Head on Kennon Road. I sighed in relief. Finally, I can chill now since I already entered Baguio—or so I thought.
Damn it, my car isn't moving! Sobrang traffic, fuck!
This is the real traffic, indeed.
It's already 2:30 p.m. when I can finally drive freely but the traffic is still there.
"Boss," I greeted the guard.
"Ahh, Ramos! Sandali lang ho, tatawag ako sa kanila. Ano pong pangalan niyo, Sir?"
Napalunok ako bago sumagot. "Luke Aldrin Flores."
Tumango ang guard matapos kong magsalita. "Sandali lang ho."
