Chapter 27:

I heaved a deep sigh before holding both of her shoulders and moving her away of the doorway. I unlocked the door and opened it. There, I saw Vance with a bouquet of flower again.

The shock on his face was very evident when he saw me. He probably didn't expect me here because it was his ex-girlfriend's unit. He's fucking asshole for coming into my girlfriend's unit.

"What the fuck do you need with my girlfriend?" I asked, emphasizing the last two words.

Vance looked down, before looking at Lily, who's standing beside me. His eyes scanned her whole body and that made him realized that Lily's wearing my shirt.

If only that sight can slap, Vance's face might be swollen right now.

"I just want to talk with her," Vance answered, looking directly at me.

I smirked. "Does the talk you're going to have needs you to bring a fucking bouquet of flower?"

Vance smirked after I told him that, which made my hands turned into fists. Lily hugged my arm to stop me because it is clear in my face that I want to punch this asshole.

"Baby, stop," Lily told me. "Vance, please... just leave. I don't know what do you need that you came here but please, I don't want to—"

"I really thought that this man before is someone you never know when he took you away from me that night at the parking lot," Vance smirked before looking at me. "I saw how shock you were that time, Lily. I saw that shock face that I know, is an reaction to someone stranger to you," Vance chuckled, smirking like he's fucking way better than me. "I know you that much, that's why I was so confident that I'll have you back years after."

I was about to punch him because of my overwhelming anger but Lily's arms that are tightly wrapped around mine, I couldn't raise my fist.

"She's never coming back to you!" I shouted. "Lily's long over and done with you. Ako na 'yung gusto niyang makasama habang buhay ngayon, hindi na ikaw."

Vance smirked again. "We planned for our future too, Mr. Flores."

"Fuck you—"

"Luke!"

Lily went in front of me to hug my body and to completely stop me from hurting this fucker in front of me. I was panting because of so much rage with the man who's clearly making a fool out of me. Talagang binubwisit niya ako, ha?

"Stop, please!" Lily cried. "Vance, umalis ka na!"

I saw how Vance's expression changed when he saw that Lily's crying already while hugging me. I really didn't understand why she kept on stopping me from punching him! He deserves to get beaten right here! Fuck, he's taking her away from me!

I was trying to move Lily away from me but her hug is so firm. I can't just push her even though I'm so angry right now. I just can't push her. She might be hurt, damn!

"Lily—"

"Umalis ka na!" Lily shouted again at her.

My fist were now softer because my Lily's crying, stopping me from hurting someone. I looked at Vance again and saw that he scoffed, before he took Lily's hand, that it made me react to almost punching him again. He put the bouquet of flower in her hand and then left.

I watched him enter the elevator. Lily moved away from me. She wiped her tears with both of her hands, while the other was holding the bouquet of flowers. I took it away from her and throw it in the can, then closed the door of her unit.
