Chapter 19

Chapter 19:

After realizing something, I left Lily on the bed. I took a shower and changed my clothes. Right after I sprayed my perfume, I was all ready to go. Before I left my room, I kissed her cheek lightly, and then I leave.

Palabas na ako ng unit nang marinig ko si Connor na magsalita.

"Saan ka pupunta niyan?"

Lumingon ako sa kan'ya; nakita kong nakahubad siya, may hawak na isang baso ng tubig. Lumapit ako sa kan'ya at kinuha ang baso sa kamay niya, tsaka iyon ininom. Nang matapos, ibinalik ko na sa kan'ya ang baso na ngayon ay wala nang laman.

"Hayop ka," natatawang sabi ni Connor. "Saan ka nga pupunta niyan?"

Nagkibit-balikat ako. "Sa demonyo."

He laughed because he knew who I meant. "Ready ka na?" I shrugged. "Kumusta na kayo ni Twila? Okay na kayo?"

Tumango ako. "Tama naman kayo, wala naman siyang kasalanan. Tsaka nagpaliwanag na rin siya. Naiintindihan ko na lahat," I sighed as I looked at the door of my room. She's inside, sleeping soundly, while I was here, planning on an attack. "She's inside my room, sleeping. Saglit lang naman ako ro'n pero kung magigising siya nang wala ako, pakisabing babalik din ako kaagad."

Tumango si Connor matapos marinig ang lahat ng sinabi ko. "Sige, pare. Ingat ka, baka bigla kang barilin do'n."

Pinagtawanan ko na lang siya bago tuluyan nang lumabas ng unit. Sumakay ako ng elevator at pinindot ang underground parking lot kung nasaan ang sasakyan ko. Nang makarating do'n, nilakad ko ang pinagpa-park-an ng sasakyan at pinatunog ang car alarm bago pumasok sa driver's seat.

It took me minutes before I could even start the engine. The image of me, facing that damn senator always wants me to stop. But to end the dilemma, to end this misery, I have to end it with him; my father, unfortunately.

I drove to his mansion. I don't know if he's there, but even though he's not there, I'd go to his office to end all this.

When I arrived at the exclusive subdivision, the only thing that I did was rolled my window down, and the guard let me enter inside. It's been years since the last time I went here; maybe that senator really told everyone to let the guard down when it comes to me.

Funny of him; akala niya ba mapababalik niya ako sa mga gano'n niya? Gago ba siya?

I arrived at the big golden gate. I stopped the car and went out of it. The guard immediately open the gate for me, for he is the same guard from before; I don't know if the other guard are still here but I commend his bravery, huh?

"Nasa loob po si Senator, Sir."

Tumango na lang ako at nagtuluy-tuloy na sa pagpasok sa loob.

The big fountain the middle is still very beautiful and elegant; it's like it is renovated from time to time. These politicians, really.

When I arrived at the double front door, it automatically opened the moment I stepped on the floor. The security must have seen my arrival that's why it didn't make me knock anymore, or rang the bell.

Damn, here's the real deal, huh?

I entered the big mansion. The maids in their uniform looked at me. Some were shock at my sudden appearance but some are not minding me; they didn't know me, I suppose. Mabuti na lang.

The oldest man, who is the butler, of the mansion walked towards me.

"Sir! It's been years! How are you?" he asked.
