Chapter 15:

"Palit tayo! Sige na!" pangungulit sa akin ni Lewis habang nag-iinuman ang lahat ng p'wedeng uminom sa event place.

Nagsialisan na ang mga bata dahil kailangan na nilang matulog, habang ang mga dalaga, binata at mga nasa wastong edad na para uminom, kasama ang mga matatanda, naiwan para mag-inuman at magkaroon ng sariling party.

"Shut up, Lot-Lot!" rinig kong sabi ni Lily habang nakaharang ang katawan sa harap ko, nakalahad pa ang dalawang braso na parang pino-protektahan ako. "Sa aming dalawa 'yon!"

Umirap si Lewis sa kan'ya. "Don't Lot-Lot me, Lala! Hindi naman ikaw ang nanalo, bakit ikaw ang umaano d'yan?"

I chuckled as I watched them fight again. Damn, it's been hours! Kung ako 'yan, sa 50 thousand check winner ako makikipag-agawan para makabili ako ng sariling plane ticket, mas malaki pa ang pocket money!

Pero sigurado namang hindi makikipag-palit 'yon, especially that the winner is Louie. Napailing na lang ako.

"Sa amin nga 'yon! Hindi ako papayag kaya hindi rin siya papayag!"

"Weh? Isasama ka ba niya?" Lewis smirked. "Kuya Aldrin, will you take Lala with you?"

Lumingon sa akin si Lily nang may masamang tingin, nakahalukipkip. I gulped when I remembered that she's angry, but I immediately smiled when I realized what to do.

"Hmm..."

"Anong hmm?!" Lily asked in an angry tone. "The answer is yes, Aldrin!"

I laughed. "Nakakatakot magdala ng taong may galit sa akin do'n, so I really need to think things through."

She's panting, obviously angry. Lewis is watching us with a teasing smile on her face. Magsasalita na sana ulit ako nang naupo si Lily sa kandungan ko at niyakap ako, tsaka tumingin ulit sa akin.

"Do I look angry at you?" she asked in a scary voice.

I chuckled with her cuteness. "Uhm... yes?"

She kissed me repeatedly. "Am I angry?" she asked again with her left eyebrows. "Am I angry, Aldrin?" she kissed my lips repeatedly again.

I chuckled in triumph. Damn, I fucking love this angry Lily. I fucking love it!

"Uhm, yes...?"

She pulled me closer, kissed me longer, not letting my lips to move. Damn it, she's crazy angry at me! I saw Lewis laughing at us as she waved her hand. She went back to their table, and sat beside her boyfriend.

After few seconds, Lily stopped kissing me.

"I'm not angry, really," she said.

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her waist to support her. "I thought you are."

She shook her head. "Nope. No way," she chuckled. "Nasasaktan lang ako. Baka kasi hindi na ako maganda sa paningin mo."

I laughed at her remark. Damn, why would she say something so impossible?

"You have always been beautiful to my eyes. How dare you say that?"

She frowned. "You always stop yourself."

"I'm just protecting us."

"Protect us from what?" she asked with her creased forehead.

I shrugged, pulling her closer to me. She wrapped her arms properly on my nape. "You told me once that, when you did that thing with Vance, you lost your interest with your relationship," I gulped. "I don't want that to happen for us."
