"So are you guys like official or what?" Joanna asked eagerly as we walked down the crowded halls of our school.

I shrugged. "I don't really know. I guess we're just testing the waters, you know?" Joanna nodded her head. "So basically what Clarissa and Leo are doing." She said, and looked at the two lovebirds that were bubbled up in their own separate conversation next to us.

I nodded my head. "You could say that."

"I'm happy for you guys. You're really cute together." Benny added from where he was walking next to Joanna. I smiled in appreciation. It was exciting, really—Mason and I.

And new—he was my first 'real' boyfriend. The only other one I had was some guy that asked me out in middle school, which predictably didn't last long. A week to be exact.

Plus, Mason was a very sweet 'boyfriend.' After that night at the beach, we've been spending a lot of time together. He said he had something for me that he bought that time he went to America, but he assured me he would give it to me 'when the time was right.' Apart from that, I'd often go to his house to play video games with him—all in which he won every single game. But it was fun, you know? The two of us actually getting along for once. And we both seemed to enjoy each others company. But we were nothing serious at the moment—we're still in a way, getting to know each other.

All seven of us—Ayesha, Clarissa, Leo, Joanna, Tristan, Benny, and I walked into our English class. Mason was a no-show today, and I wondered where he was. Matter of fact, I haven't seen him all morning. Weird.

"Hey, now that our entire friend group is in a relationship with someone, do you ever feel just the slightest bit lonely?" I questioned Benny as we both sat down on our assigned seats. Ayesha sat down on the seat on the other side of me, leaning in to listen to my conversation with Benny.

"And who told you I was single?" He replied, a small smirk plastered on his face, and I gasped. "You have a boyfriend?"

"Duh! Remember that sugar daddy I had during the summer? We're official now." He smiled proudly, and Ayesha and I squealed.

"Are you serious? What's he like?" she asked, and Benny smiled, his eyes shining.

"Rich." He said in a sweet melodic voice, causing Ayesha and I to burst out laughing. Well I guess that was the point of the relationship, right?

"Well, what about you?" I turned to ask Ayesha, and her cheeks started to go red. "You too?" I asked in shock. She nodded her head, smiling.

"Met some girl at that party Mason threw." She beamed, and I slapped her shoulder playfully. "Get out of here! Are you guys dating?"
