Chapter Twenty Two: Teach me how to duggieThe minute my lips made contact with Mason's warm one's, a shocked gasp escaped his mouth.
"S-Sofia," He tried to argue, but the second he opened his mouth to speak, I used the advantage to run my tongue along his. I was definitely caught up in the moment.
I moved my lips roughly against his, a faint hint of mint on his tongue.
"Sofia!" He muffled yell came out from his mouth, and he quickly pushed me away.
My back hit the door, a loud groan escaped my lips. "What the hell?" I cursed, and looked up at his flushed face in dismay.
Mason looked at me under his lashes, and opened his mouth a tiny fraction. "What do you mean 'what the hell?' Do you realise what you've just did?"
I shrugged. "What have I done? It was just a freaking kiss, relax."
He took a few steps closer to me, and put his arms on my shoulder. "Sofia, listen to me. You're not thinking straight. The only reason you kissed me, is because you wanted to prove something out of nothing. Now, I'll ask you this again...do you realise what you have just done?" He looked at me, a serious look on his face.
Crap.
He was right...what the hell did I just do!
Holy freaking crap, I just kissed Mason freaking Franklin!
No, no, no,no,no!
Crap, now I was freaking out.
I paced up and down the small space, my hands caught in a tangled mess in my hair. I pulled on a few strands in frustration, but immediately regretted that poor decision, when my scalp began to throb a fraction.
"Mason!" I said, my voice wobbling. "What did I do? Oh my god..." I stopped in my tracks and looked up at him, my eyebrows furrowed-
"I kissed you! This wasn't suppose to happen, I should have never agreed to come to this stupid trip with you! No..."
My back hit the wall, my body sliding down.
"My life is ruined!" I put my face in my hands and shook my head.
Seconds later, soft footsteps began to approach me. I felt Mason's body slide down next to mine, and his hand place down on my shoulder.
"Oh, shut up. It's not that big of a deal...like you said it was just a kiss."
I slowly turned my head to look at him. And of course, that idiot was grinning.
"Mason I don't think you understand, okay? I kissed you. Actually kissed you! Do you realise how wrong that is?" He shook his head, to which I rolled my eyes.
"Of course you don't."
I heard him sigh, and remove his hand from my shoulder. "Let's just forget it ever happened, okay? I don't want this to be a big deal, cause it's not. We have much bigger problems to be worrying about right now...like how those freaks are gonna react when we step out of this closet." He laughed, and tried to catch my glance, but I couldn't bring myself to face him just yet.
