Chapter Thirty-Six

I ran back to the diner, we need to go. I caught Anna's eye from the window, giving her a look she nodded, told the boys and came out.

"We need to go, like right now. We need to find Aries whatever and get back to our quest." I nearly shouted to the group.

"What's going on Ivy?" Anna asked, I shook my head. I'll tell her later.

"How are we going to find this place?" Percy asked. Waterland. That's where we will find Ares shield. How will we find it? Waterland... water...Percy.

"Percy! Use you water power thingy and find the water park." I shouted. Percy's eye brows scrunched together in confusion.

"What?" I huffed a sigh.

"Try to find the water park by finding the water."

"Oh." He closed his sea-green eyes. He gave us a lovely face that resembled him being constipated. His eyes shot open. "Follow me."  With that he took off.

After several hours we finally came across the abandoned water park. A large gate stopped us from entering the establishment.

"Guys? Can we stop staring at the gate and clone over it or something? This place is giving me the creeps." Grover broke the silence. I let out a snort.

"Everything gives you the creeps Grover." I shot him a smile and used the wind to lift me over. I watched as Anna scaled the gate like it was nothing. Grover did the same. Percy on the other hand, had some troubles but he eventually made it over. We made our way into the ghost park.

"Where do you think we should start looking?" Anna questioned. I went over to her and looped my arm with hers.

"Why don't we split? I know it's not ideal but we can cover more ground. Anna and I will go left and you two can go right. We will holler if anything happens or we find anything. If we don't see anything in an hour we can meet back here." I suggested to the group. They all nodded. "Okay then, let's get to it." Anna and I went off.

"Alright Missy, tell me what happened back at the diner." I mentally groaned. Why couldn't she forget.

"After I left I got a letter form Sev saying I can do magic anytime I want to. Went and did the scan of the area, when I went to change back I heard footsteps behind me. At first I though it was you but it didn't smell like you. It was David. We talked. He attacked. I levitated him into a tree, tied him up, knocked him out and used the winds to take him back to camp." She went quite.

"Ivy, why didn't you come and get me? I hate that your fighting him all in your own like that. I can help. Next time he shows up you yell out." I stopped waking, taking my arm from hers to face her.

"I appreciate your concern about my well being and all that. I really do, but somethings I have to fight by myself. Now let's go find this shield, I have a hunch as to where it is." I looped my arm with Anna's once more and pulled her off to the Tunnel of Love. On our way there we found Percy and Grover raiding the gift shop. I looked at Anna. Clean clothes. We walked right up to them and grabbed a few shirts and shorts. Percy looked at us.

"You can't just take those... right?"

"We can and we will, come on Ivy." Anna barked back to Percy. We went behind the changing room. The flower print shorts and the red t-shirt with the 'Waterland' logo did not look the best but it worked. The boys shrugged and went off to change in similar clothing. Anna and I found some bags and flip-flops; we stuffed the bags with everything we though was helpful. The boys came out and I explained my theory of where the shield was.
