I'm standing there, my trunk that is full of clothing and school supplies, along with Dásos's cafe was sadly loaded onto a cart. I look around confused, trying to look for platform 9 and 3/4, but it is nowhere to be seen. And I know it has to be a wizard thing I highly doubt any mortals or muggles, as Professor Dumbledore likes to call them, would known what I'm talking about. Still highly confused I looked between platforms 9 and 10. As I stood there watching the two platforms a boy no older than 13 ran directly into the wall separating 9 and 10. My eyes widened as he disappeared into the wall. Not believing it I put my hand against the barrier and my hand went through it. I pulled it out, completely amazed. I stepped back and my cart, and with a running start I went right through the wall and was meet with a beautiful red train. With a smile on my face I rolled the cart to one of the train people and gave them my trunk as I took Dásos's cage and my spare bag with me. Since I had no family to say my goodbyes to I went on to the train and found me an empty booth and sat there with a book in my hand and Dásos curled into my side. I sat in the silence, with an occasional page flip or a snort from the pup beside me. As day turned to night, we neared Hogwarts and I changed into my robes. When we stopped I gave my fluffy pup a kiss on the head and a promise of seeing him after dinner and left the train with a bunch of other first year students.

"Over here! First years' over here" A huge man hollered while holding a lantern.

"Alright there Harry?" The giant man continued. Since I was in the back I assume the person named Harry replied. "Right now, Foller me! Don't ye get lost." The man started to walking, everyone followed him. He stopped in ground of a giant lake. Out of nowhere about 10 boats appeared on the dark lake.

"Alright now! Three to a boat. And yer better hold on!" As I climbed in the boat I prayed to my mother and Lord Poseidon that I didn't fall out of the heavily rocking boat. I was about to sit down when a voice interrupted the silence I was in.

"Can I sit with you? All the other boats are full." I looked at the person who voiced her concerns. I nodded my head, she then climbed in and sat across from me. She was really pretty, she had long blond hair and typical bright blue eyes. The girl had a tiny built, and was skinny but not to skinny. Her heart shaped face had freckles that scattered across her cheeks and nose. I was snapped out of my thoughts when a hand was placed in my live a sight. The small girl looked up at me expectantly, I gave her a confused look.

"I had said my name is Courtney Smith. And thank you for letting me sit here." I took her hand in mine, giving it a firm shake.

"Ivy Potter, and it's not a big deal." Courtney's eyes widened when she heard my name.

"Potter! Your Harry Potter's cousin!" The blond yelled, eyes turned to look at us as she gushed about Harry and I about how we're the 'chosen ones' or better yet 'the boy and girl that live'. I mean I'm nothing special. Shoot I haven't even meet Harry yet, and I'm supposed to be his cousin!

"Are you done gushing about me and Harry? It's really nothing to be so excited about. Let's move on from this topic."
Courtney blushed and nodded her head, asking me the next round of questions.

"What house do you think you'll get? Are you a pure blood or half blood? Where do you live?" Good gods, this girl can talk. But she is really nice. A small smile went onto my lips as I answered her questions. Good thing I had asked Snape about Hogwarts before he left me at the Leaky Cauldron.

"I honestly have no idea what house I'll get, as far as I know My dad was a pureblood my mom not so much. And I live in New York, which is in America." I should ask Dumbledore about this whole pure blood thing. Anyway before Courtney could answer a loud booming voice rang in our ears.

"Look over her', this will be yer first sightin' of the castle!" The giant man said. Looking over to where he was pointing, the biggest building I have ever saw came into view, and it was absolutely beautiful. The castle was bigger than anything I have ever saw, and it had lights on in almost every room. It lit the way as the boats came to a sudden stop on the grassy bank. All the students had gotten out of the boats and is now following the giant man to the front of the school. We stopped in front of two giant doors. The man turned to look at us.
