~Time Skip~

I woke with a start. Sweat runs down my face and onto my already sweat soaked shirt. My mind was running, causing a massive headache to form. With a groan I fell back onto my pillow, thinking about my dream.

~The Dream~

I was falling, a scream of pure terror was ripped from my mouth before it was even formed. My arms were trying to grab anything that would stop my fall from continuing, but there was absolutely nothing I could grab on to. Out of nowere the ground came rushing to my free falling body. I closed my eyes expecting an impact full of pain, but I received nothing. I slowly opened my eyes only to see that I was a few inches off the ground. Upon realizing I was not going to fall I fell, all the wind and was knocked out of my lungs. Once I was able to breathe again I stood up and examined my surroundings. I was in the clearing in the middle of the woods, it was dark, the only source of light was the full moon that shined brightly about the tree tops. As I was admiring the moon and the stars I heard a light chuckle, I snapped my head around only to be meet with the glowing yellow eyes of a young girl with auburn hair. Artemis. My mother. She looked at me with love and pity swirling in her eyes.

"Mom?" I asked in confusion as to why she pitied me.

"Darling, you have grown so much, but I'm afraid we don't have much time. I want you to know that I love you very much, I may not see you often but you are my everything." She pulled me into a hug, she strokes my hair.

"I came to wish you luck on tomorrow, it's going to be a life changing day." Thunder rumbled form the cloudless night sky.

"I have to go now my dear, I love you so much. Happy Birthday my darling. When you wake you will have gift or two. Now I have to go. Goodbye darling." As soon as the last words left her mouth I was falling yet again, only this this time my screams were heard.

~End of Dream~

I got out of bed once I remembered that mom left me a gift. I looked on my desk and seen a small silver box with a blue ribbon tied to it. I picked it up and seen that there was a note attached to it.

                                                Ivy,

Happy Birthday my darling! I hope you have a wonderful day! Just as I said last night I have a gift for you, open the box and I will explain what it is.

I did what the note told me to, inside the box was a beautiful pendent. It looked like it was made from the moon itself, it had a crescent moon carved with a stone that looked like a moon shining in the middle of it. Forcing myself to look away from the breathtaking necklace I finished the note.

Press the circular stone, it will activate into a bow with a never ending quiver of arrows.

I pressed the cold stone, and instantly it turned into a pure silver bow with a quiver of silver arrows. The bow was just as beautiful as the necklace, maybe even more. It was almost white it was so silver, it had vines encrusted into the metal, making it look even more magical. I smiled in happiness. I looked back at the note, reading the final bit of it.

Just think of the pendent and the bow will return to that form. I also gave you a second gift. But this one is form the within. I need you to picture myself, focusing on the gift I will give you, you will feel your self warming up, only then will you open your eyes. Afterward you need to think of your body to return to normal. I love you so much happy birthday my dear. I hope you enjoy your presents.
                     -with love your mother
