I woke with a start, the banging on my cabin door grew louder with each passing moment.

"Ivy! So help the gods! You better get up and be at Thalia's tree in fifteen minutes!" Anna yelled at me through the silver door. With a groan I rolled off my bed and onto the floor. I just lied there for a second more before I got up and got ready for the quest. I pulled on a pair of black shorts and random t-shirt before lacing up my shoes and putting my long hair in a hair tie. After making sure I hade everything I left with my bag in tow. I ran up the hill just in time to see Luke and Charles talking with Anna, Percy and Grover.

"Hey. I didn't expect to see you here." I said with a slight sarcastic tone, giving a hug to Luke. I turned to Charles.

"Morning! Did you get it done?" He nodded with a smile on his face. "Ooh! Let me see it!" He laughed as I squealed like a child. It was perfect! He made a simple draw string bracket with a arrow in the center of it. The arrow was silver and was encrusted with little diamonds.
"I love it! Thank you so much Charles!" I gave him a fist bump.

"No problem Ivy. All you have to do is press the arrow and it will appear, when your done with it just think of the arrow and it will return to your wrist."

"Alright! This is awesome. Thanks again."

"Your welcome, and good luck on this quest."

"Thanks." I flashed him a smile and tuned in to the conversation happening next to me.

"Just Iris message me if you need any help with the shoes." Luke said while giving Percy and box which apparently has shoes in their.

"What's going on over here? Giving your shoes to Percy? Expecting a new pair?" I laughed a little.

"What no! I was giving Percy some flying shoes I stole for Hermès. I was just trying to help!" Luke pouted. I patted his shoulder.

"Yes you are helping. Now be a good boy and give me a hug." I told him as if he was a dog. I guess he didn't mind because he gave me a hug anyway.

"Stay safe, Shorty. I mean it. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. There are monsters everywhere. Be careful and come back in one piece."

"I will. I know, I'll do my best. Hey one more thing." Luke let me go and looked at me, eyebrows raises. "Can you look after Dásos for me? Please."

"Yeah, sure." He smiled and gave Anna a hug and fist bumped Percy's hand. Wishing them all luck and jogged down the hill. Chiron came and spoke to them, telling them to be careful and all that jazz. Just as they were about to get in the van a voice stopped them. My blood ran cold. David. His mop of hair sat messy on his head, he looked normal in the bright orange camp shirt and a pair of shorts. His eyes glinted evilly.

"Hey! Ivy! You were going to leave and not tell me bye? I'm hurt that you think so lowly of me. I just wanted to wish you luck on this pitiful quest of yours. Your gonna need all the luck you can get. If I we're you I would sleep with one eye open. Anything can happen you know." He winked and started his way back down the hill. I felt sick to my stomach, I looked at Anna, my eyes shining with unshed tears. She grasped my hand in hers.

"Ivy, don't listen to him. I won't let anything happen to you." I nodded wiping my face, making sure no tears fell.

Ivy, you need to get a grip! Why are you so scared of him?

Oh I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that he should be dead!

Still. He's still the boy you rescued a long time ago.

No he's not. He changed. He's colder, meaner. He's definitely not alive. He has a plan, and I'm apart of it. He's not going to stop until I'm either dead, join his cause, or he's dead. And I don't plan on two of those things.
