The trip that was suppose to take us a week turned into a month. We made it to Brooklyn, but we had to make many detours. The cyclops from the garden had followed us here and repeatedly showed up at random times. For weeks we continued this game of cat and mouse, or as I like to call it moster and demigod. We run and they find us, we kill them, they reappear out of nowhere and so on. We had lost them a few days ago after Thalia, Luke and Grover had saved Anna and I from their grasps. We had continued on and now, from what the maps says, we have around two or three miles before we get to camp. Were almost there. We ran another mile, a sign had come up. It read: 'PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES" and underneath it it had the address of camp, and a mile marker saying we had one mile left. I got my hopes up, we had one mile left and then we would be safe. I looked up to Luke, a small smile on my lips. Luke Looked at me with slight worry in his eyes but he returned my small smile with one of his own. We continued onward, or we tried to. My smile as well as my hopes came crashing down like the tree that is now in front of us. The five of us turned around only to be faced with three cyclops. They found us. Just as we were home free. Without a though I grabbed my bow and the arrows shooting at any open body part of the one eyed giant's. Arrow after arrow was shot, each one lodging into the bodys of the cyclops, each one roaring in pain. With fury over taking one she swiped his hand in my direction causing me to drop to the ground. Unfortunately Grover didn't move in time. He was thrown into an opening, whether he was conscious or not I have no idea. Annabeth ran over to Grover to make sure he was alright, and somehow he was. That's one lucky goat. Anyway as I shot my arrows Luke and Thalia was stabbing each beast when they could. I was finally able to cause the cyclops I was fighting to erupt in a pile of dust, just as Luke did to his moments ago. We went to help Thalia but she had other ideas.

"Luke go help Anna with Grover, Ivy come and help me!" we went separate ways. I shot my remaining arrows at the beast as Thalia stabbed it. One eye roared in pain, it went to grabb Thalia, but before I could open my mouth everything was done for. The daughter of Zeus was thrown yards away, fling into trees, landing on to the ground. I faced the cyclops for the last time, with all my might I stabbed the freak in the eye with my dagger, the monster instantly turned into a pile of golden dust. Ignoring the dust and the shouts of my name I ran to the dying girl. I found Thalia, she was still breathing, but very shallow.

"Thalia, I am so sorry, this is my fault, if only I was fast enough, if only I had seen it sooner." I started to choke on my tears, I had let this happen. "I am so sorry, lease don't leave me, your the only piece of family I have left. Please, I'm so sorry." I cried harder. A hand found its way into mine, giving it a light squeeze.

"Ivy, its n-not yo-our f-falt," Thalia said, while coughing blood, "Y-you *cough* did y-our b-best *cough* y-you w-won't l-lose me." blood ran down her chin and tears ran out her eyes. She gave my hand one late squeeze as she let her final breath leave her lips.

"NO! THALIA! WAKE UP! PLEASE! DON'T LEAVE ME! PLEASE THALIA! WAKE UP, PLEASE! wake up." I shook her limp body, all warmth of it was fading. Hugging the lifeless body as I cried for my fallen family. I felt someone grabbing me lifting me up trying to calm me down. Whispering calming words into my ear, but all I could see was the lifeless body of Thalia being struck with lightning. I cried harder than before. I was starting to feel light headed. Luke was still whispering calming words into my ear, Annabeth was helping Grover walk.

"Ivy we made it okay, we are at camp now. I'm here, Anna's here and Grover's here alright, Thalia made it. We all made it. Shhh, calm down okay. Shhh, now. You're okay. I won't let anything hurt you." That was the last thing I heard before darkness took over.

~Time Skip~

Everything I saw was a blurry mass. My thoughts are a jumbled mess. Thalia's gone and it was my fault. If only i was faster, if only I seen it coming sooner, if only I had killed the horrid beast sooner she would still be with us. It's been three days since Thalia's death, three days we have been at camp. I woke up yesterday, had the tour of camp, got calmed at the campfire. Just a normal day at Camp Half-Blood. Luke and Anna have been claimed as well. While they have plenty of brothers and sisters I'm all by myself. No brothers, no sisters. Just me, myself and I. Since I'm alone in the cabin I get to make my own schedule. It goes: Morning call at 7, breakfast at 8, from 8:30 until noon I have Greek lessons with a girl from the Athena cabin, Grace who is really nice. At noon lunch, and after we have the choice of archery, sword fighting, rock climbing, arts and crafts, volleyball, pegasus riding, or canoeing. I tried to get as many lessons as could with Luke or Anna, I didn't want to be by myself. Anyway, I'm on my way to breakfast when Luke comes up to me.
