"Percy. Get off the bus. Right now. We will meet up with you in the woods. Go." Anna whispered to him as the old ladies got closer to our seats.

"What? No! I'm not going to leave you three here with Ms. Dodd's and her sisters." I sighed taking over.

"Percy. We have been doing this way longer than you. Besides, your one of the big three. Your more of a target than us."

"Then won't that make them follow me? Are you trying to kill me!?"

"Fish Boy! Put Anna's cap on. It will turn you invisible. It won't mask your demigod sent, but it will confuse the harpies long enough for you to escape and us to kill them. Now go before they come. Percy nodded and disappeared; Anna and I got out daggers out and was ready to attack if we need to. One of the ladies turned and looked at us.

"Hello demigods. We are now going to kill you." All three dropped their bags and took off theirs hats. Their skin peeled back like a banana peel, only to reveal leathery skin and bat like wings. They were about to attack when the bus jolted to the side and went off the road. The passengers yelled out, the bus driver looked mortified. I looked at Anna. Percy. That idiot.

The driver gained control of the wheel again and stopped the bus, ordering everyone to get off. Alarmed, everyone did just that. I grabbed my bag and pushed open the emergency exit, pulling Anna and Grover behind me. We ran as far as we could before the bus decided to blow up. Great. Fan-freaking-tastic.

The harpies flew above the flaming bus and shrieked at us.

"Filthy demigods! Give it back! Thieving, lying. You must die!" With that they charged. Right. At. Us. Anna and Grover got one of the sisters, while the other two charged at me. I took out my sword, trying to slice one, when Percy decided to be a team player and help out. He took out a pen. A pen.

"Fish Boy! If your going to help, you need to put away the pen and help!" I cried out as I slashed my sword at the wing of the harpy, missing. I cursed. The harpy ignored me and flew to Percy. "Percy! Look out." As soon as the words left my mouth Percy activated his sword and managed to stab the harpy as it flew over him, showering Percy in a gold dust. I looked at Anna and Grover, making sure they were okay, finishing the second harpy. I faintly heard Grocer complaining about a bag of tin cans. Ignoring him I focused back on the monsters. The third harpy flew too high for us to attack her.

"Sisters! Master will hear about this! Give me what you stole! Or prepare to die!" Percy yelled back at the oversized bat.

"We haven't taken anything!" The bat cackled.

"You lie son of Poseidon. For that you will die." The harpy then took you her whip, cracking it down at us. I ran to Percy, pushing him out the way, it felt like fire wrapping around my arm. I cried out in pain, but I have a plan. I ignored the pain  while I grabbed the whip even tighter, wrapping it around my arm, pulling it down with all my might.

"Anna! Get ready! On my signal...NOW!" With one last pull, the harpy fell out the sky and Anna ran up and stabbed the disoriented bat. I released the whip.
"Come on. We need to move. Like now." Anna nodded and we ran into the woods. Hopefully Grover and Percy are following. We ran until we physically couldn't take another step. Percy and Grover collapses onto the forest floor. Anna and I sat down on the base of a random tree, panting. I grabbed my bag that somehow managed to stay in one piece during that little adventure, and took out a bottle of water. Drinking half, I passed the rest to Anna. Nodding gratefully she took it.  I looked at Percy and Grover. We needed to fix our plans.

"So what do you think we should do now?" Anna put the bottle back in my bag and looked at me.

"I think we should continue to move. at lest for a few more hours. We need as much distance between those Harpies as we can possible get." I nodded.
