This is Who I Am

Chapter Thirty-Three

I got to see him... I spoke to Leo! He hadn't very changed much. His dark brown locks got a bit longer, his baby face was still there. His eyes, they still looked like chocolate. He looked so much more alive than the last time I saw him. He look happier.

He has a family... what if he never wants to leave them? What if he doesn't want to be with me anymore?

Shut up, brain!

You know that it's a possibility!

Hush! I dint want to think about that.

What ever you say... I sighed. I really hope he's happy, that's better than being with me I guess. Suddenly the train came to a stop. I woke everyone up and we exited. With no where in mind we started to walk. My mind drifted to the brown curly headed boy, I let a small smile lift my lips. But almost instantly it fell again. I got to see him... but when will the next time be? I shook my head, clearing all the thoughts. I need to focus on the quest. I listened in to the conversation between Percy, Anna and Grover.

"We need to find somewhere to sleep tonight. We need to make a new plan since our last one went up in flames." Anna told the boys.

"Yeah, but we should keep walking. Hey! Ivy? Do you think you can do that wolf thing and scout the area?" Percy asked, nodding I went behind some trees, striped and changed into a wolf. After giving Anna my bag, I ran off, searching for anything dangerous.

Birds... check
Tree... check
Grass... check
Squirrel... check
Monster... nope

For a wile I did this, until I finally came across civilization. A diner! I howled and ran off to find Anna and the boys. I transformed back into myself when I found them.

"Guys! I found a diner! It's a few miles off but we should get there by sundown! Let me change out of my goddess getup and we can get going!" I looked at Anna, who still has my bag, with my arms outstretched. She handed me some clothes and I hid behind the trees, yelling at the boys to turn around. I changed and we set off to the diner.

"Ivy, are you sure you saw a diner? In the middle of nowhere?" Percy had the nerve to ask me this.

"Yes Fish boy! Don't question me, we will be there shortly." He nodded and we continued on. A few moments later we finally found the diner. It was cute, a little retro. When we went inside the waitress looked at us like we were about to rob the place. That or we were like trash to her. Either way we ignored her and sat down at a booth near the window. Instantly the waitress appeared next to the table.

"Hi there. Are you going to order anything?" Anna nodded and opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by the rude waitress. "And how are you going to pay?" Anna closed her mouth, Grover looked like he was going to cry, and Percy just stared out the window. I cleared my throat.

"We have some mon-" my voice was drowned out by the loud roar of a motorcycle. The dude stomped in with his leather combat boots and dark shades. Out of no where I wanted to bang Percy's stupid head into the ground, I wanted to fight every single person in this place. The dude paused for a split second, then without a second glance at everyone else in the diner he headed straight for us. The Harley dude sat right beside me, I suddenly realized who this was. Ares. Out of all the gods, and all other places he had to choose here, and he had to sit beside me.

I am so, so, so, so sorry that I have not posted in a while! I have no idea when I'll be able to post again! I'll be starting up school next week and I'll try to post regularly. As for the last two weeks, I have been really stuck on this chapter. It's rushed, and terrible. I'll post a better one as soon as I can. I'm sorry it's so short, like I said I have been really stuck.
