Toni pov

"Toniiiii wake up we're going to be late" Martha spoke shaking me and pulling the cover off me

"Ugggg give me five more minutes" I spoke pulling the cover back over my head

"No you say that every five minutes get up and come eat some breakfast it's the most important meal of the day" she spoke pulling the covers off me and take it with her

I got and got ready for school, you know the usual things

I walked down stairs to see Martha eating some cereal, I grabbed a bowl and a spoon and grabbed the milk from the counter I poured me some Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Once we both got done eating we made our way to school

Once we was at school me and Martha was at our lockers

"Y'all first game tomorrow are you ready for that?" Martha asked

"It's not a game it's a scrimmage and yeah I'm ready but I really can't wait for our first game" I spoke her smiling

"At your scrimmage and games I will be yelling out GO TONI" she spoke

"Please don't" I spoke laughing

"Oh yeah I'ma have to embarrass you love, I might get you a board head made and hold it up" she spoke smiling

We both started laughing, as I was laughing I felt someone staring at me, I looked past Martha to see Shelby staring at me while Andrew was all up on her

My smile dropped and I shook my head at the sight

"What's the matter?" Martha asked

"Nothing" I spoke as the 3rd bell rung... "I gotta get to class see ya later" I spoke walking off

They called My team out there and they went in hyped in the gym because we had a prep rally even though it was just a scrimmage

Than it was my turn to walk out there so they introduced me

"And starting point guard, she hoops like a boss, best you don't cross number three Toni Shalifoe" the man spoke as I walked in hyped

I was doing my lil dance as signs was being held up and the crowd was going wild

I decided to shot the ball and I made it making the crowd get more hype

I got in the line with the rest of the team

I looked around the room and that's when I saw her, I don't know her name or who she is, she had to be new because I would've notice her if was here before

I stared at her for a few seconds before she glanced at me causing me to turn my head quickly

I smiled at myself

The game started and it was going good I watched as Toni scored back to back and she also missed a couple of shots but she was still on her A game
