Part 22

Toni pov

I got up and did the basic of getting ready for school

"Are you ready?" Martha asked

I nodded and grabbed my things

First block went by very slowly, once the bell ring I grabbed my things and left out quick

I walked around with some of my teammates until the warning bell rung, then I rushed to class not trying to be late

I saw Shelby sitting so I went and took a seat next to her

"Hey" I whispered smiling

"Hi" she spoke lowly with a small smile before turning back and focusing on her work

"How was your night?" I asked

"It was fine thanks for asking" she responded without looking at me

"Okay, now this is the part when you ask me how my night was" I spoke following by a little chuckle

She cleared my throat... "how was your night?" She asked still not looking at me

"It was okay... um is everything okay?" I asked

She blowed out a breath like she was annoyed "Everything fine"

I got quiet for a couple of minutes cause she seems a little off

"Maybe I'm tripping but you seem a little off" I whispered

"You're tripping, now can you stop so I can do my work?" She said

"Okay" I mumbled leaning back in my seat

I stayed quiet for the rest of the class period

Once the bell ring we started packing up, and since the class was over I thought maybe she chilled out

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked

She glared at me... "I'm fine now can you please stop asking me" she spoke rolling her eyes

"Okay geesh" I spoke

With that she grabbed her things and rushed out the classroom

Lunch time came and I sat at the table with my friends

As I took my seat I looked back and saw Shelby with her arms wrapped around Andrew arm while she was laughing at I don't know what

They took a seat at the table across the other side of the lunch room, and she was all over him

"What's up with that?" Fatin whispered in my ear

I turned around to face her

"I don't know, she's been acting weird all day" I whispered back with a shrug

"What did you do?" She asked

I looked at her with the wtf face

"Why do you assume I did something?" I asked

"Because you're Toni" she responded
