Shelby pov

Me and Fatin was sitting in class taking notes

Since I haven't been home since I told my daddy about me and Toni I had to wear some of Fatin's clothes to school

"Have one of your parents tried to contact you?" Fatin asked

"My mommy texted me, she want me to come home" I answered

"What are you going to do?" She asked

I shrugged "I don't want to talk about that right now" I responded honestly

"Okay then we don't have to, what do you want to talk about?" She asked

"I want to do something special for my girlfriend" I blurted, I've actually been thinking about this for a while

Fatin smirked "oh really? Like what?" She asked

"I don't know yet, but I want to do something for her to show her how much I love and appreciate her, and how amazing she is" I responded

Fatin nodded "lemme know if you need any help" she says

Toni pov

"You ready for this championship game?" One of my teammates asked

"You know it, I'm always ready to win" I spoke smirking

"This going to be the first championship our school has won in 25 years, it's going to feel so good that we did that" she said

I nodded "we could've won last year but they cheated us the whole game" I spoke shaking my head

"Right, but it's cool cause we play the same team this year, and we can show them who is the best now" she said

"Yep" I responded

"I'm going to be breaking ankles all night" she said

"Me too" I spoke dapping her up

"Ight T, I gotta go get my work done" she said

I waved at her as she walked out to go to her class

"Toni please don't go breaking people ankles" Marty said looking at me like she really meant it

I chuckled "Marty it's just another way of saying we are going to be crossing people over, maybe they will just fall, maybe they will actually break an ankle, but I'm not going to touch anybody" I reassured her

She nodded

"So you coming to my game?" She asked

She nodded

"It's an away game" I spoke

"I know, ima be there, I might catch Shelby or Fatin there" she says

"Okay, and since this the championship game meaning it's the last game and this my last year which means I gotta work extra hard tonight, because I know I said it don't matter which school wants me, but I still didn't get UCLA attention yet, and if they want me I would accept immediately, I wanted to play basketball for them since I was little" I spoke

"Don't worry Toni, I'm pretty sure you will get there attention, and if you don't, then it's their lost" Martha said

I nodded "I hope so" I mumbled

"Alright guys, we've made it this far, it's time to bring it home" coach said
