Chapter.4

______________________________________

"Why did you bring her here?!"

My head felt a thousand pounds and my eyes stuck together from the dried tears. I was blindfolded and tied to a chair with my hands behind my back.

I struggled to hold my head up as I pulled at my restraints. Panic started to settle in when I realized the situation that I was in.

"Do not question my actions, Minho"

"Have I ever failed you?" The unknown man asked.

Minho was hesitant to reply "No" he said.

The rope was rubbing against my skin, I whimpered as the rope dug into my flesh. I became frustrated and began to scream and rock the chair. I stopped and began to hyperventilate, I couldn't see my surroundings, it was dark and cold, yet I felt a fire in front of me, blowing warm air onto my legs.

"We have an execution date?" One asked, there was silence after his question "We can't risk the trouble with Jin-young" he added.

I heard somebody approach me, their heavy boots gave them away. They lifted the blindfold from my face so I could finally see. I was in a livingroom, an old brown sofa sat to my right, two men sat there watching me, drinking rum out of fancy glasses. To my left was a bookshelf and an end table with an antique angel statue.

"What are you doing Jeongin?" One of them asked.

"She is scared, can't you see that?" Jeongin asked the man interrupting. Jeongin wiped my eyes with a wet cloth, allowing me to see clearly. I struggled to breathe as I began to hyperventilate again.

I looked up at everyone in the room with me, there was at least eight men. I tried moving my arms but I couldn't, the ropes were two tight.

"Why would Jin-young want her dead anyway?" Seungmin asked. Jeongin kept trying to wipe my swollen face but I kept pulling away from him. As I was shifting uncomfortably in the chair, my hands grazed a nail poking put of the chair.

I didn't hesitate to try and tear the rope with the rusted nail. Jeongin left my side and approached one of them in the room.

"Jin-young has a reason for everything" Felix said. I looked up at the tall one standing beside Felix, his face was pure beauty, his pale skin shimmered in the fire light. He had hair white as snow and eyes dark as night, I was captivated by his beauty.

I couldn't help but stare, he stared back at me with crossed arms and a perplexed expression. I would expect my kidnappers to be dirty, to smell, or even have sweat dripping from their greasy hair.

But everyone in the room looked unreal, as if I was sitting in room full of angels.

As I rubbing the rope against the nail, Felix pushed himself off the wall and began to approach me. I watched as he pulled a knife from his back pocket. My heart raced as I feared for what was about to happen next.

"Felix" the tall one said.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill her, that is your job, I'm just going to have some fun" Felix replied. He brought the knife to my chin, pressing it against my skin, forcing me to lift my head and look him in the eyes.

I glared at him, clenching my jaw tightly to keep myself from saying words that I would regret. I couldn't help but feel that he was up to no good. Maybe it was the way he approached me with a weapon, or how he is pressing the knife to my skin.

He traced my neck with the blade causing shivers down my spine. I gasped and tried to pull away as he dug the knife into my collarbone. I could feel my blood dripping down my shoulder and onto my white gown.

He began to pull the knife away from my collarbone but just when I thought his sick torture was over, he rammed the blade into my thigh. I could feel ever tear in my muscle, I let out the loudest scream that I have ever made in my whole life. My body jolted as the pain shot all the way from my hip to my toes.

"Felix stop!" Jeongin said.

Felix sighed and looked at Jeongin, "If you say so" Felix said before pulling the knife from my leg. I tried to hold back my scream but it came out as a moaned growl.

My face is drenched in tears and my faith in humanity no longer exists. Blood begins to pool from my wound and my body finally goes into shock.

I laughed as I began to feel faint due to the blood loss.

The tall one dramatically sighed and approached me. He began to undo his belt, my eyes darted to his waist. "Get the hell out of here, Felix" He said before getting down on his knees in front of me.

Felix looked me up and down and rolled his eyes before leaving the room.

"What is your name?" I asked the man tying his belt around my thigh. He glanced up at me while tightly tying the belt. Our eyes met and I couldn't help but feel curious about this beautifully, mysterious man.

He didn't answer my question, he stood up and turned to his friends. "Leave" he said to his fellow friends in the room. The man sitting on the sofa with large biceps looked up at the man in front of me. "Ahhhhhhh" he screamed out of frustration but I truly believe he was being funny.

I watched as he stood up from the sofa and left the room with the rest. Jeongin looked at me and then at the man in front of me. "Go" Hyunjin ordered him.

Jeongin left the room with suspicion in his eyes.

After everyone was gone, the man began to add more wood to the fire. The fire roared and red embers filled the air in front of him. He stared at the fire for a few moments before speaking.

"My name is Hyunjin"

I looked over at him, my breath became short and my head felt light as a feather. "I'll have someone come and clean your wounds" he said to me as he stood up.

He grabbed the blanket on the sofa and approached me, he placed the blanket over my shivering body. I flinched, thinking he was going to harm me. He noticed but didn't say anything, there was a hint of anger and disappointment in his eyes.

That is when he left the room, I winced as a sharp pain shot through my thigh. I cried, silently shaking in the chair that I was just stabbed in. As I shifted in the chair, I felt the rusted nail once again.

My heart jumped and I felt hopeful for once. I worked quickly, rubbing the rope against the nail, I knew that it was working, the rope began to thin. I had gotten the last thread torn and then my hands separated. I gasped and pulled my arms around the chair, I examined the red marks that the rope had caused.

I untied my feet, letting the rope hit the floor. I struggled to stand up but i somehow managed to. There was a bucket of wooden staffs next to the front door. I limped over to the bucket, grabbing a staff and using it as a crutch.

I unlocked the door and quietly cracked it, I peeked outside and didn't see anyone. I took that as my chance to go, I closed the door behind me and ran as fast as I could with my injury.
