A Common Desire

You were woken up by someone shaking your shoulders. You sat up with your eyes still closed as you wiped the drool from your chin. "W-what is it?" You mumbled while you rubbed your eyes.

"Y/n, you fell asleep in the studio again." Seong-sung informed.

"What time is it?" You asked, as you packed your bag.

"It's 7:30am. How long have you been here?"

"I don't even know. I don't even remember how I got here." You admitted.

"I think you need some rest. You've just finished promotions and you have the weekend off."

You waved him off, "I'm fine. I'm just gonna go home and wash up, I'll be back in a few hours."

"Don't you dare. Get some sleep!" He called, but you were already out of the door.

You kept hitting your head, trying to remember what the hell happened the night before. Your memory had been getting foggy lately and it was beginning to jarr you.

Promotions ended the previous night after having your last performance, so you had the weekend to "rest" but you knew there was no room for that in your life. You were a workaholic to say the least.

While walking through the empty streets, you were stricken awake by the beeping of a horn. You located the sound and it belonged to a yellow truck. You were pretty sure that you had never seen this car before, so you continued to walk. The car beeped again. You turned around, starting to get irritated by the constant noise banging through your tired mind.

The car sped up a little and the window began to wind down. You bent down a little so you could see who was driving. "You have got to be kidding me." You groaned.

"What are you doing. I went to your dorm to pick you up for our date but you weren't there. I was on my way to the company but I saw you walking out." Mingyu said. "Get in."

You opened the door and hopped in the passenger seat. "Date?"

"Yeahhhh. You agreed to go out with me this weekend since we were busy with promotions. How do you not remember that?"

You rubbed your temples as if you had a huge headache. "I don't know. Can you take me to my dorm. I need to get ready first."

"Did you sleep at work?" He question, obvious concern painted his expression.

"By the looks of it. Now drive and stop looking at me like that." You leaned your head on the window and closed your eyes for a little longer.

When you arrived back home, Mingyu waited in the living room while you took a shower and got ready for your supposed date. He refused to tell you what he was planning so you just went along with it, hoping for the best.

After the shower, you immediately felt refreshed and much more awake. You change into some presentable clothes.
