You felt a strong grip on your wrist, pulling you closer to the person holding you. Mingyu's eyes bore into yours. You didn't know what to do. His stare caused you to lose all ability to communicate. You couldn't even tell what he was feeling, his face was blank. The only thing moving were his irises as they flicked through yours. "What is he talking about, Y/n?" He asked quietly, causing the other boys in the room to be alone confused.

You opened your mouth, preparing to answer his question, but your mind goes blank. You didn't know how to explain. You had been trying to hide it for so long that it didn't feel real that he now knows. You looked at your feet, you couldn't bring yourself to look at him. You felt ashamed.

"Is everything okay?" Soobin asked.

"Yeah. Everything is fine." You replied. Your eyes were still fixated on the floor.

"Excuse me, boys. We have a schedule to be at. But it was nice seeing you all again." Mingyu smiled at them, not letting go of your wrist.

You looked back at him finally. "Not now." You whispered.

"Yes. Now." Mingyu shot back.

Without giving the youngers a second glance, he dragged you out of the building and into the empty parking lot. You wiggled from his tight grasp and stood still. He turned around, his expression still absent. "What was he talking about, Y/n?" His tone was stern, causing you to tremble a little. You'd never seen him so serious before.

"Nothing."

"4 years ago. There is no way that's a coincidence. Tell me the truth, I know it's not 'nothing' Soobin was being deadly serious."

"Please, Mingyu. I can't-"

"Is this another of your secrets? That you were pregnant?" He closed the short distance between you and glared down at you. "I want nothing but the truth."

You felt as your eyes began to glaze over. The truth hurt. Mingyu's posture softened as he realised how fragile you'd become. He wrapped his arms around you and brought you into his warm embrace. "I didn't mean to be horrible. But please understand that this is something I deserve to know." He pulled away and rested his hands on your shoulders. "Why don't we go for coffee? you can tell me then."

You nodded, grateful for the extra time to put yourself back together.

You got into his car and he began driving to the cafe. You didn't even have time to appreciate that you'd reunited with your brother after 6 years. Now you were too concerned with how Mingyu is going to see you after you blurt the truth.
