You were already up and making coffee in the kitchen when your manager came to wake you and the girls up. When he passed by and saw you he almost jumped out of his skin. He held his chest after the slight fright, you just stared at him while sipping your hot drink. After realising it was you, he sighed "Please tell me you didn't do an all nighter. You have a long day today" he pleaded.
You put down your cup, walked around the island counter and patted him on his shoulder, "No I didn't. But I'm pretty sure Ji-Na was up until 6 this morning so you better wake her up first."
Your manager shook his head and rubbed his temples whilst walking away, "you girls will be the death of me." He mumbled to himself but you heard, causing you to giggle a little before you went into the bathroom to take a shower.
It wasn't long until all four of you were ready and sitting in the car on the way to the studio. You chose to spend that time writing in the small notebook you took everywhere with you and gazed out of the window into nature for inspiration. You often wrote poetry and short stories and used them as drafts for future songs. You put your AirPods in and chose to listen to a few of Seventeen's songs, you found your favourite one being 'Hug'. You hadn't even realised that you had listened to it on repeat to the point where you had memorised the lyrics and began singing it to yourself.
When you arrived, you got your hair and make up done and your stylist gave you your new outfit. The faster time passed, the more nervous you got. Your heart almost dropped to your stomach when your manager came in and led you to the studio. The writers began talking you through what was going to happen although your mind was wondering elsewhere, you hadn't noticed you were daydreaming until Ji-Na began waving her hand over your face, snapping you back to reality. "Are you okay?" She asked. "You seem distant."
You shook your head and gave her a reassuring smile, "I'm fine."
Finally you were instructed to stand where you would enter the set, the awkwardness built up when the other groups came and stood by you. You tried to look ahead and not be bothered by those behind you but that proved impossible when Mingyu stood next to you, his shoulder brushing against your own. He mimicked your position by holding a high posture and looking ahead. "Nice you see you." He said, still facing forward.
You didn't move. Luckily you were saved my the director signalling that the cameras where rolling and the MC's, Eunhyuk and Kwanghee entered the set and began introducing themselves and making jokes. "Lets introduce the first group." Eunhyuk said.
Suddenly he began singing a famous line from your debut song before announcing, "STARGAZER!"
That was your groups cue to enter the set, paint a smile on your faces and become cheery. Your song played as you did a joyful dance as you stood beside the MC's. They began cheering and dancing with you until the music stopped. "Thank you for coming!" Kwanghee said before announcing the next group.
