It had been a few days until you told Mingyu everything and you were finally able to get in touch with the adoption agency. Luckily, a meeting was set.
But that wasn't the least of your problems right now.
It turns out the response on the whole relationship reveal was a massive boost for both companies. The amount of people supporting you both was higher than those who didn't. Many were just glad to know that their idols were happy. But you weren't in a real relationship. Yeah sure, you'd made out a couple times but nothing was ever confirmed, even after confessing to each other. You were low-key waiting for Mingyu to make the move.
Most of all, a lot of variety shows were cramming to get you both on at the same time so neither of you had any free time. You were shooting constantly and never had time to work on your private lives or talk to Mingyu properly without it being filmed or put on show to the world.
Right now you were deep in slumber in your waiting room after shooting a show. You were really exhausted and it wasn't a good thing for you to feel. Sometimes you would feel the urge to take something to wake you up but Mingyu was there to erase those cravings. So that's why you took a small break on producing, at least until the whole couple hype calms down.
You were woken up by a harsh tapping on your cheek. You're eyes batted open, revealing Mingyu's cheeky grin.
The only downside to now being a 'couple' was that you shared a waiting room. It could be really irritating sometimes because he was so fixated on annoying you. "What do you want?"
"It's time to go home. Wanna come to my dorm?"
You groaned, "just give me five more minutes."
You heard a rustle before you felt a wet cloth on your face. "Well you can't sleep with your makeup on, you'll breakout." He received a hum as a response. "Want me to give you a piggy bag to my manager's car?"
You nodded your head with a pout on your lips.
Mingyu chuckled as he finished taking off your makeup. He tapped your leg, telling you to jump on his back and you did. You leant your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes but you never fell back to sleep. You could still hear everything going on around you. That means you heard all the screams and cameras as Mingyu carried you outside.
He quickly buckled you into the backseat before getting in himself and fixating his shoulder under your head. "You did that to be dramatic." You mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
"You have to give the fans what they want, princess." He chortled.
"I spoke with the adoption agency. There's a meeting set up tomorrow morning." You spoke.
