Excitement swelled up inside as you skipped over to the museum. You were slightly ahead of Mingyu but your fingers were still tangled together.
You had been planning the perfect date since the moment Mingyu stormed out of your dorm, it needed to be special. So you decided to mix it all into something he loves. Art. You had seen paintings that he had worked on before and they were amazing. You wanted to witness the mindset he went through as he created something new. And you also wanted to share that interest.
You took Mingyu inside and handed in the tickets you brought for the art exhibition to the reception. After they let you inside, you turned around to see his reaction. He was completely in awe, his eyes continued to dart around the place before staring at you. "You brought me to Hangaram art museum?" He asked.
You shied away a little. "I thought we could do something that you enjoy for once. You're always thinking about what I want to do, so I thought I would do the same."
He didn't say anything, only gazed at you with large eyes. "Do you not like it? We can just go somewhere else if you want I-"
Mingyu cut you off by pulling you into a hug. "This is the best, little one. I love it."
"This moment would have been perfect if you hadn't called me that. But because you're being so nice, I'll let it slide." You snickered while you pulled away. "There is also activities to do later too. Where we can paint together. And then we can go for dinner. How does that sound."
He pinched your cheeks and cooed at you before replying. "It's sounds perfect. Thank you."
You smacked his hands away and pulled him into the exhibit.
Truth be told, you knew nothing about art. In your eyes, the paintings and the displays were just funky pieces of materials, you didn't really know what to think.
Mingyu on the other hand, deemed so interested in each creation. He would often explain some famous pieces to you and explain how they were made. Despite your little knowledge, the facts you were told excited you. Not only that, but the expression Mingyu carried as they travelled through the place. Not only did he look aesthetically pleasing, but he looked as if he was in his element, and you enjoyed seeing him like that, doing something he had a passion in.
You even took the liberty of taking sneaky photos of him as his mind wondered into an abyss of colours and inspiration. You wanted to remember this day forever.
Overall, the exhibit lasted around 2 hours. There was a lot to see and the place was huge. Once it was over, you decided to eat lunch at the small cafe by the entrance. You ordered a coffee and a sandwich while Mingyu got a slice of fudge cake and a hot chocolate. "Did you like it?" You asked.
