It was the day of the SMAs, so you had to wake up around 9am and head straight to the avenue for rehearsals. All four of you slept throughout the journey, you needed as much sleep you could get, it was going to be a long night. You all stocked up on caffeine and snacks so you didn't feel tired and weak. This was an important night for you, you needed to perform to the best of your abilities.

As soon as you arrived, you were rushed inside your prepared waiting room. All the staff was setting everything up, meanwhile your manager was handing your your name tags. You helped the girls tie theirs up before you were called first. You had to be earlier since you had to rehearse with Mingyu.

Your manager gave you your mic and earpiece before escorting you backstage. The girls were following close behind as they were planning to watch, they hadn't been able to witness the performance in the audiences' point of view yet.

You had to wait a while since another group was rehearsing before you, but you didn't mind since Mingyu still hadn't arrived yet. You tended to be early, but you think it's because of your manager's anxiety when it comes to disorder.

Since the girls parked themselves in the audience seats, you were alone as you juggled your mic in your hand. That was until you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist from behind. You didn't need to turn around to know who it was, you could recognize his scent anywhere. And his gold mic was clutched firmly in his grip. He rested his chin on your shoulder and spoke quietly, "Good morning."

You would have shrugged him off due to the awkwardness, but everyone thinks you were dating. Instead, you turned around and gifted him a genuine smile. "How are you?"

"I'm perfect now that I'm with you." He smirked.

You rolled your eyes jokingly and turned around again. "You're always so cringe."

He stood next to you, your shoulders touching closely, "I'm not,. You just don't appreciate me enough." He pouted.

"Guilt tripping me isn't going to work."

"Not even if I do aegyo?"

You shot him a sneaky grin. "Go on then."

He seemed taken aback, he wasn't expecting that reply. He stroked his nape as he pleaded you with his eyes. "Not right here."

You crossed your arms and nodded. "Yep. Do aegyo right here, in front of all the staff."

He stomped his foot like a child once he noticed many anticipating stares. "Y/nnnnn" He whined. "Please don't make me. I'll shower you my with cuteness later."

You lifted your chin and looked away, putting on a stubborn act. "Nope. It's fine. I'll just keep under appreciating you."

The corners of your lips peaked when you heard him groan frustratingly. He stepped in front of you and puffed out his cheeks while doing bunny ears with his fingers. You covered your mouth with your hand as you tried to stifle a laugh.
