A few days had passed and you were finally done with your schedule for a few weeks. You didn't speak to Mingyu at all, you were back to avoiding him. Meanwhile, you texted Joshua everyday and was planning to go out tomorrow.
It was currently 10:30pm and you were at your desk, working on your song while the girls were sleeping. You had been tapping your pen on your notepad for almost 20 minutes, unable to write the lyrics. You seemed to have the words in your mind but was physically unable to write them down. Your head was too jumbled and distracted to concentrate.
Even though Mingyu said he would help, you felt too shy to ask. But you also wanted to finish the song quick enough so it could be included in your next album. You stared at your phone for a good 10 minutes before picking it up and unlocking it. Your finger hovered over the call button. What if he was asleep? What if he didn't want to talk? Maybe we was just saying he would help for the sake of it? All sorts of anxious thoughts and questions filled your head until you eventually pressed the button.
You placed the phone to your ear and closed your eyes for no apparent reason, waiting for him to answer. When he did you felt instantly guilty.
"Y/n? Is everything okay?" Mingyu's voice was hoarse
"I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" You asked, biting your nails.
"That doesn't matter. What's up?"
Oh no, I did. "Don't worry about it. I was just being stupid."
"Y/n. Tell me. You haven't spoke to me for ages and now you call in the middle of the night. It's obviously important."
"I'm sorry it's just that I'm struggling to sleep because of work and you said I could use you as my muse. I know it's late so I understand if you don't want to help."
"Where would you like to meet?"
His question surprised you, "You're being serious?"
"Of course. I would do anything to make sure you're okay, little one." His tone became playful.
"Maybe you should just go back to sleep." You chuckled.
"I'm coming to pick you up, pack your stuff up."
He didn't give you anytime to answer before he hung up. A smile unintentionally crept upon your lips as you closed your laptop and put it in your bag. You waited in the living room for a bit until you got a text from Mingyu, telling you that he was here. You slung your bag over your shoulder and walked down the stairs and spotted his car outside. You walked a little faster and hopped in the passenger seat.
Mingyu looked good, considering her had just woken up. His hair was messy and we wore grey joggers with a plain white shirt. That's also when you remembered that you too were in your pyjamas with your converse on like slippers.
