A/N: hey babes, school has been rough for me lately, and i think I'm going to end this book at the 40th chapter. I'm really sorry I just don't really feel it anymore so I'm trying my best. luv you.

Tris' POV:

"Laurie?" he asks.

"No, Lauren," Uriah replies swiftly.

The man walks away as he writes something on his clipboard.

Uriah walks off and sits at a bench.

I sit next to him, my train of thought slipping away. I look at his dark skin and lean on his shoulder. The beeping noises around the room seem comforting, and I find sleep.

- flashback -

I laugh as he pulls the spoon back.

"That's the worst thing I've ever tasted," I chuckle as I lift a bottle of water to my lips.

He pushes the hair behind my ears and lifts my face upwards.

"You're beautiful," he says to me.

I gaze at his eyes, stare into them like they give me the air I breathe.

I'm at a loss for words, as I always am with him.

"You mean everything to me, Tobias," I reply.

He brings his head toward mine and kisses my temple swiftly.

"I mean it," I add.

He hugs me and goes to the sink to wash the spoon, I smile at him as he dries his hands on the towel by the sink.

Suddenly, his face drips flesh, his bones beginning to show. I am unaware of what is going on, whether I am still dreaming or not.

"Tris!" he screams.

His hand reaches out to me, but I can't seem to grasp it.

"Tris!" he yells louder.

He is a skeleton now, white bones dirty as almost they had been drawn by pencil. He uses all his strength to grab my hand, but he is falling farther away from me.

The white background sinks behind him, his back falling in with it.

I scream in terror.

"Tris!" he yells again.

I awaken to the sound of noise and looks of people around me.

My body shakes and suddenly the room is hot. A group of workers and Uriah stands around me.

My hand makes contact with my forehead, it drips of sweat.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Uriah asks.

I nod.

He sits down next to me and hugs me awkwardly.

"We found records of the suspect, no idea where she is, as soon as we find her she will be put in high security prison for the trial of jail escape and attempted murder. Thank you for all your help," one of the police officers says.

I smile lightly at him and look at Uriah.

He nods at me as if he knows what I'm thinking.

He grabs my arm and helps me up, when I get on my feet, we walk out of the police station together and I get in his car.

I'm too terrified to sleep, knowing it will never happen again.

I stare out the window, as we drive away.

Christina's POV:

"So anyways," I say, "Cookie never got what he wanted that day, and that's what makes him a diva."

I wan't to rip my hair off my head.

I would have never imagined sitting on an uncomfortable stool on a Tuesday talking about my dog to my friend in a coma.

"I hope your having fun, I am," I say.

I grab another piece of pizza from the box and begin to eat it.

I hear footsteps and the door opens as the doctor walks in.

"Where are the others?" she asks, looking at Four and his alive but lifeless body.

"At the police station, why?" I reply.

"I have updates on the boy's health, how long will they be gone?" she reports.

"No idea, they are probably telling the officers who Lauren's name is by now," I say.

She exits the room, and shuts the door behind her.

"So, another game of Uno?" I ask Four, placing a deck of cards on his stomach.
