Tris's POV:
He holds a few bags of chips in his hand and is drinking some coke.
He looks at me with wide eyes and stands there frozen.
I stare at him as he walks up to me.
"Hey." he says. I smile lightly. He smiles back. We sit there for a few seconds.
He finally places the food on the table next to me and sits in the chair.
"So, how have you been?" he asks. Why is he even in here?
"How long have you been in here?" I ask him.
"As long as you." I raise an eybrow as he grabs a bag under his chair.
"Toiletries," he grabs another bag, "Bedding and electronics." he says while walking over to another chair.
"Money and clothes." he says holding up another string bag.
All of this is confusing and I really just want to take a nap.
"I'm going to sleep." I say.
"I understand."
"Good Night."
"Good Night Beatrice."
? Beatrice.
"Good Night Tobias." I say and turn my head to the other side of my pillow.
I drift off to sleep with the sounds of chip bags and soda cans.
Mason's POV:
I'm thinking about Tris and how I saved her life. I'm planning to ask her out tomorrow.
Four's POV:
Tomorrow they pull her air plug out. When they do, she will be good as new. My Tris will be out of the hospital and back to school.
It's also good for me. I haven't been to school in a week. I have a plan to just tell them I'm sick.
I feel bad that Mason is in the hospital, but he did say, "Fourtris sucks. She's my Tris," which possibly gives me a right too.
When the nurse comes in my thoughts drift away.
Tris breaks her stare from me as the nurse begins talking.
"It would probably be best for you, Tris, to get some sleep. We're taking your air plugs out first thing tomorrow and we don't want you to fall asleep." she says with a laugh and exits the room.
She looks at me and rests her head down on the pillow.
I grab my second chair and my pillow and blanket and get situated.
I start to close my eyes when she speaks, "Hey." she says.
My eyes dart open and look at her. This is the first time she's talked to me since this morning.
"Hi." I finally reply.
"Is he okay?" she asks.
"Yeah." I lie. Why did she have to bring him up?
"Good." she says.
I sigh.
"You're such a good person Tobias. Why would you do that?" she asks me.
"I- I don't know." I say. I can't just straight up tell her I love her. I've never said it to her before and we aren't even together. But I do.
