Susan was enjoying her Ringo filled dream when a sudden loud knocking forced her consciousness. Her eyes fluttered open in time and a weak groan accompanied her ears. She smiled with delight when she saw Ringo's arms wrapped around her. She had been wondering why she felt so safe. His hot sleepy breath wasn't helping either when it was sending explicit thoughts into her head.

Another thud against the door brought Susan back to reality and unfortunately Ringo too who was woken up by the sound.

"What is going on?" He moaned sleepily just barely enough for her to hear. Susan couldn't tell whether he sounded better fully awake or half.

"Ringo! You in there?" Mal's voice boomed through the door. "Ringo!" He knocked again.

"Stop fucking knocking!" An angry/exhausted Barbara yelled in her bed which was only to the left of the couple. Susan's head jerked towards the lump that was in fact Barbara trying to sleep. If it wasn't for her shouting, Susan wouldn't even have known she was there.

Ignoring her curse, Mal knocked again, something even Susan knew was just plain suicide. Barbara rose up from her non-existent slumber and marched to the door, thirsty for blood.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Barbara fumed at Mal with the door only slightly open.

"Is Ringo in there?" He asked calmly.

"Does it look like I give a fuck?" Her eyes were piercing into his soul. "Some people are trying to sleep."

"Is Ringo one of them?" Mal grinned as Barbara couldn't help but laugh grumpily. "Just tell him to get up will ya." He said and walked off.

Barbara closed the door and turned to Susan. "You alright?" Susan grinned.

"Fuck off." She replied. "Wake him up." She nodded to Ringo.

"He's awake."

"No, I'm not." Ringo defended in his sleepy state.

"Rings lad, the lads want you." There was no response. She turned to Susan. "I will hit him."

"Ritchie, get up now." Susan quickly ordered, knowing full well Barbara was a woman of her word.

"Uggggggggggg..." The drummer moaned.

On their way to the Ed Sullivan set, the girls were finally reunited. They were in one car whilst the lads travelled in another with Mal.

"Had fun then?" Linda asked Susan.

"Well, you know." She blushed.

Linda turned to Barbara who was quickly doing her makeup. "Where did you disappear off to?"

"Bed, obviously."

"My bed." She corrected.

"You said you didn't mind." Barbara snapped.

"I'm joking."

"Wait, Linds where did you sleep?" Susan asked curiously.

Linda scoffed. "I had to stay in the boys' hotel room didn't I." Barbara chuckled evilly.

"Bet that was fun."

"So much." She rolled her eyes.

"Did you sleep on the sofa then?" Her evil friend grinned.

"No actually, Paul gave up his bed and since Ringo wasn't there." She glanced at Susan. "George slept in with John."

"Bet that was an experience."

"One I'm keen on forgetting."

They parked up outside the theatre where the show was hosted and met with the lads. Ringo walked over to Susan as soon they were in sight of each other and gave her a warm kiss, sending fresh tingles all over her body.

Mal led the way, taking them around the back to get in through the more discrete entrance. As they were about to get in backstage, a security man approached.

"Excuse me." He said. "They can't come in." He gestured to the girls.

"It's alright, they're with us." Lennon puckered up to the guard, giving him a cheeky grin.

He shook his head. "Sorry, no can do. You need permission to come backstage and they don't."

"Come on Brucey, is your name Bruce?" Lennon inquired, quickly getting distracted.

"It's Dave." The guard corrected sharply.

"How about, you just let them come with us now and we'll get our manager to sort it out?" George suggested.

Susan glanced nervously at Barbara. She didn't like a part of the reason why the lads were being held up.

"It's fine, honestly." Susan pitched in. "We can just wait outside." Linda nodded in agreement.

"Erm, no." Barbara jeered. "That will not be happening."

"Like my friend George was saying." John continued. "You just step aside and our manager can talk to old Eddy." He smiled sweetly. "Pretty please."

"I said no." He deadpanned.

"Come on, let's go outside." Susan turned away.

"Wait, you can't go," Ringo interjected, grabbing her head.

"If you guys carry on going like this, you'll never get in." She reasoned. "Look, I saw a cafe like across the road, we can just wait in there until the show."

"I saw it too." Linda nodded.

"Just wait a moment, we're about to get you in." Paul countered.

Ringo could tell by Susan's expression that she wasn't comfortable. "Are you sure?" He asked to make sure she was certain in her decision. She nodded in response.

"Whatever." Barbara sighed and strutted off angrily.

"You've awoken the beast now." John laughed to the guard.

"I'll see you later." Susan gave Ringo a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Not if I see you first." She smiled warmly and walked off with the others.

"Now can we enter?" The guard stepped aside. John bowed patronisingly. "My lord."

Just across the street, the girls were sitting in a cafe booth. Barbara lit a cig.

"Well, this is shit." She muttered, taking a drag.

"It's only for a bit." She rolled her eyes.

"Ok then." She said sarcastically. Linda pulled out her book from her bag. "At least someone's happy."

"Just passing the time," Linda replied, flicking to the page she was on.

"Lunch?" Susan picked up the menu off of the table.

"I'm not hungry."

"Tough." Their eyes met Barbara, sending her a dagger stare.
