The plane rattled in the air, which wouldn't be a concern if it wasn't for the unnecessary amount of people on board. There were the boys, and the girls and a load of reporters and men with cameras. The noise was unbearable. Questions after questions and flashes after flashes.
Susan was thankful for being at the other end of the plane but it still didn't silence the commotion. Barbara huffed next to her and poured a vodka shot into her tea. Linda was sat reading opposite. Even she looked pissed off and usually, Linda could sit through anything as long as she had something to read.
The plane dipped again as Barbara was about to take a sip of her vodka tea and spilt it all over herself. "For Fuck sake!" She cursed out. A bunch of reporters turned to look at her before turning back to the boys. "It was better when we were on a normal flight." She hissed.
Susan looked out the window. Barbara was right but she wasn't going to let the flight ruin her day. They were heading to Miami after all. Miami! Susan had only dreamed of going abroad and to Miami of all places. New York was amazing but it was ruined by all the drama and getting lost. Hopefully, Miami would be better.
Dan appeared and sat down beside Linda, a bottle of whiskey in his hand. "Alright squad." He smiled and poured himself a glass.
"Erm, what do you think you're doing?" Susan questioned with an eyebrow.
"What? I'm on me holidays." He grinned and took a swig, grimacing at the harsh taste.
"Yeah, you keep saying that." She rolled her eyes.
"You won't tell mum though. Will ya?" Susan looked at him, and sighed, crossing her arms and turning away. Dan chuckled to himself.
"Do you want a sip?"
"No," Susan replied bluntly.
"Go on, I'll have one," Barbara said and took the bottle, taking a large swig. Linda glanced up at her, and back down at her book. "If you've got summet to say, say it." She passed Dan the bottle and rubbed her mouth with her sleeve.
"I didn't say anything," Linda said calmly.
"Where were you anyway?" Dan asked her. "John said you were walking or something."
"Oh yeah." Barbara grinned. "You and Paul then." Linda rolled her eyes. "We've got plenty of time to talk about it." She laughed.

Arriving at Miami airport was complete madness. There was a massive crowd of fans waiting for the boys, many flashing their signs and records for all to see. To Brian's request, the girls waited for the boys to get off the plane first so the paparazzi could get their pictures. And as he said, "who knows what those girls will do if they see you three." Luckily for Dan, the girls understood and luckily got to go with the boys and act like he was a reporter.
Travelling in separate cars, the girls met the boys at the Deauville Hotel which was only a short distance from the beach.
"Oh my fucking god." Barbara marvelled, walking into the cosy lounge room, the boys already present and drinking too.
"Here they are." The boys cheered. "Didn't get lost this time did ya?" They laughed, including Cynthia who was sat with John's arm around her, his hand practically resting on her breast. Barbara was seething inside but wore a smile.
Susan, Linda and Dan walked in, a cheery Ringo walking over and embracing Susan in a warm hug. "Alright?"
"Yeah." Susan smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I wasn't expecting it to be that at the airport." The boys nodded, all feeling pleasantly surprised.
"Oh shit." Dan hurried tipsily to the sliding doors, leading out to the poolside of the hotel and slid one open.
"Dan." Susan started worriedly. Without another word, Dan jumped into the pool, fully clothed. Everyone stared, eyes-widened.
"Come on then!" John suddenly burst and ran out to do the same. George and Ringo followed excitedly and jumped in after, water going everywhere.
"Fuck it." Barbara picked up John's drink that he left on the side and downed the rest of it in front of Cynthia. "You're coming too." She said, pushing Susan through the door.
"Wait, what? Barbara!" Barbara laughed evilly and pushed Susan into the pool before jumping in herself.
"Ayy!" The boys cheered and started splashing each other.
Paul turned to Linda, eager to join them. "You coming?"
Linda looked at him, grinning back at her. "Are you being serious?"
"Come on Linds!" Barbara shouted, splashing around in the water. "It's nice." As Barbara turned, a load of water came at her face. She wiped her eyes and there was John with the smuggest face ever.
"Right. Susan, get them!" Susan didn't hesitate to join Barbara in splashing the boys to death, which started a splashing war.
"Get on my shoulders," Barbara ordered and Susan jumped up on her back, wrapping her legs around Barbara's waist.
Ringo called Dan to do the same which made Dan and Susan the designated juggernauts. "Right then." Dan and Susan stared at each other. You could feel the tension rising between the two.
"Charge!" Barbara yelled after a moment and stomped towards Ringo. Dan and Susan grabbed each other's arms and fought to send the other crashing into the water.
"You'll thank me later," Paul said quickly, the temptation just too much to bear and picked Linda up by her waist.
"Paul!" She yelled. "No stop! Sto-"
SPLASH! Linda quickly swam up to the top, gasping for breath. Just as her sight was about to adjust, another splash crashed into her and Paul swam up in front of her.
"You look cute wet." He teased. Linda responded by splashing him. "Hey!" Linda laughed at the Beatle, another pleasant surprise for Paul. "Hop on then." Linda mounted on Paul's back and joined the fight between Susan and Dan.
Barbara, Dan and Susan all shared a similar expression. "Shit..." Barbara and Dan both said.
"Abort!" Dan yelled.
Linda was like a shark when it came to water fights, something Ringo and Paul were about to find out.
And for the rest of the day, they all stayed in the pool, drinking and enjoying themselves. As if they are just on a normal holiday. Whatever normal was anymore.
