[Jikook] Back And Forth pt2

(I didn't really thought about this having a part two, but y'all asked for it, so I'm giving it to you all 😉)

"Hello? Minkoo? Why'd you call?" Jungkook says as he receives a call from his daughter.

"Mom! Mom! My 18th birthday is coming up, I want you there!"

"Of course, who said that I won't go? It's my baby becoming an adult afterall" Jungkook says, chuckling.

"Yay! I'll be seeing you there, dress pretty, maybe dad will fall again"

"Stop, your dad isn't gonna fall again. He's happy with the partner he picked, baby" Jungkook says, there was a tug on his heart but he ignored it, forcing a laugh.

"Oh, mom, what if he does. You're his first love afterall"

"Hmm, I doubt that, Koo" Jungkook says, a stray tear falling down his cheeks.

"Well, bye now!"

"Bye" Jungkook says, trying to sound so happy. The call ended and he sighed, putting his phone down.
"Jungkook, he's happy now, don't force yourself" He says, taking deep breaths. He put both of his fingers on both ends of his lips, trying to put a smile.
"Come on, you need to smile for your child's birthday, you'll ruin it if you're crying and sad" He says to himself, but he can't seem to smile, he's sad, angry, he's having mixed emotions.

Jungkook takes a deep breath, fixing his tie. He stared at himself, why was he wearing lip gloss?
"No, Jungkook, Minkoo told you to dress pretty, you're gonna dress pretty" He says to himself, smiling.
"I can do this" Jungkook says before he got out of the room, grabbing his valuables.

Jungkook stared at the venue, it was so big. He smiled, at least Jimin's doing what Minkoo wanted. He gasps as he bumped into somebody, looking at who it was. His eyes widened, Jimin. Park Jimin. His ex-husband.
"Oh, Jungkook" Jimin says, chuckling. Jungkook just nods, looking down and looking for Minkoo. There he saw her, sitting on a throne like seat. He smiled, waving at her. Minkoo gasps, standing up from her seat and running to her.
"Woah, be careful, young lady. You're wearing heels, you might trip, that won't look good since you're wearing a fancy dress" Jungkook says as he hugged Minkoo.
"I'm glad you're here, mom. Did you see dad?" She asks and Jungkook gulps, shaking his head.

"Not yet" Jungkook says, chuckling.
"Oh, I'll call hi-" Jungkook cuts Minkoo, shaking his head.
"No! I mean, no need to. He needs to focus on his girlfriend, not me" Jungkook says, chuckling. Minkoo knew that on the inside, he was hurting.
"Mom, are you okay?" She asks, making Jungkook frown.
"What do you mean? I'm more than okay" Jungkook says, chuckling. Minkoo pouts, hugging Jungkook again.
"I know you're not, you can always talk to me, mommy" She whispers. Jungkook's lips wobbled, but he wouldn't let his walls break down that easily, especially since he doesn't want to ruin his daughter's birthday.

"Aww, you're trying to comfort me? Don't worry, baby, I'm okay" Jungkook says as they pulled away.
"Mom... " Minkoo says and Jungkook shakes his head.
"Don't...don't worry about me, okay?" Jungkook says and she nods.
"Come on, let's get you something to eat" Minkoo says, she knew that he wasn't eating, it's obvious with his bony hands.
"Why? The party hasn't even started yet" Jungkook asks, and Minkoo shakes his head.
"Mom, I ain't letting this go now. You're not eating, I saw it... When I was about to visit you, I saw you throwing away your food" She says and Jungkook's face turned to a worry one.

"Minkoo-" Jungkook gets cut off as a voice startled both of them.
"Jungkook? Minkoo?" It was Jimin, with his girlfriend.
"Oh, my gosh, is this your mother, Minkoo? No wonder-" She cuts herself, looking away.
"No wonder?" Jimin says, raising his brow.
"No wonder you don't look good" She says, smirking but she receives a slap.
"Don't talk about my daughter like that, talk shit about me, but not her" Jungkook says, his eyes widening. He looks around, people were staring at them.
"I'm so... Sorry" He says, running away.
"Mom! Mom!" Minkoo yelled, trying to run after Jungkook with her big dress.

"I can't believe you" Jimin says, looking at his girlfriend before running after the two.

Jimin was met with Jungkook sitting on the ground while Minkoo is beside him, hugging him. Jungkook looks up, standing up.
"Why are you here?! I know! I know that I ruined our child's birthday! And I'm sorry, okay?! I will go!" Jungkook yelled, about to run away if it weren't for Jimin's arms wrapping around him.
"I'm so sorry" Jimin says but Jungkook pushes his away.

"No, Jimin, I can't... You're just hurting me" Jungkook says before he ran away.
