Eisu was barely holding onto his hands, she was mostly gripping on the ropes, but the ropes had started to slide off. The others would have probably helped her, but Eisu had ran ahead, farther than anybody else. Suddenly, the ropes had slipped off and Aoi stumbled and fell. He knew that this was going to be the end for him, Aoi wasn't exactly thrilled, but he felt like he deserved it for some reason.

Pftt I'll never have a chance of surviving this fall, I guess this is karma for killing all those people, Aoi thought to himself chuckling while closing his eyes.

Then Aoi felt a hand grip onto his. It was Eisu of course, she wasn't just going to leave Aoi to die. Eisu tried pulling him up but stumbled a bit. Aoi could see that she was having a hard time, so he tried putting in an effort to climb up, but his wounded hand stung and it really didn't help. Eisu finally pulled him back up, she sat there breathless. Aoi was speechless,

why would she save me? ...oh yeah, I'm valuable information Aoi thought in realization.

Could it be of something else too? Aoi wondered.

"Why'd you sav- "Aoi started to say.

Eisu signed to him telling him to be quiet. Aoi scooched towards her.

"Why?" he whispered.

Eisu pointed behind him, and Aoi turned around. His eyes widened. Under were they were sitting, at the low ground was a Byoku, lying down in its slumber.
