(BRACE YOURSELF'S FOR THE CRINGE IN THIS CHAPTER)

"Mhm..." Mysterion groaned. His back hurt, and he didn't remember a lot of what happened in the past hour. He looked around, he didn't remember the world looking so gloomy, and dark...oh right, they were in Amaranth. He was lying on a large cold rock near a grassy hill, he got up and saw Super Craig laying at the bottom of the hill, he also saw Mosquito near Super Craig but at the opposite side. Mysterion grabbed his bag and slid down the hill. Super Craig started to get up.

"What happened...and who turned off the lights?" he asked tiredly.

"I think this is Amaranth, I didn't imagine it being this gloomy though," Mysterion answered.

Mosquito woke up breathing rapidly, which startled Super Craig and Mysterion a bit.

"How did we get-oh yeah right," Mosquito said rubbing his head.

Super Craig heard a pitter patter and felt soft little drops of rain fall on his face. If it was sprinkling, the rain could come down pouring, or a thunderstorm could form. Super Craig got up and so did Mosquito, they followed Mysterion for about an hour, the rain had gotten worse and they still were searching for shelter.

"Maybe I should fly higher and see if I could find anything," said Super Craig.

"No the wind is too harsh, so you'll most likely get blown away, and if you did fly higher, we could get caught by the Ruthless Fox's army," Mysterion replied.

"THIS GUY HAS AN ARMY?" Mosquito exclaimed.

"Once we find shelter I'll explain" Mysterion said walking past the two.

"Were going to die of hypothermia if we stay out here any longer" Mosquito said dramatically.

Mosquito told Mysterion to tell the voices were to find shelter, but Mysterion told him that it didn't work that way, then they started arguing about the voices. Super Craig saw something moving in the bushes and walked closer. A foxlike creature jumped out of the bushes and ran off, Super Craig ran after it full of curiosity. Mysterion and Mosquito saw him run away, so they followed him.

"CRAIG WAIT! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" shouted Mosquito.

Super Craig couldn't hear Mosquito shout after him, because he was running so fast. Then the fox stopped. Super Craig had stopped as well, now that the fox wasn't running around, he could see clearly the fox was white and it had red markings on it. Super Craig bended down and pet this odd creature. He had a pet guinea pig at home called "Stripe," but he had never seen anything like this creature. By now the two had caught up to him, and then the white fox scrambled off.

"CRAIG WHAT WERE YOU THINKIN-oh, never mind good job!" Mysterion said as he approached the cave in front of them.

Mosquito told him good job as well and then followed Mysterion into the cave. Super Craig was shocked, did the fox mean to do that or was it just fate? But it didn't matter, because right now all he wanted was warmth. He grabbed a few sticks nearby and went in the cave. They started a fire and warmed up their cold bodies. There was a long pause of silence.

"Sorry I forgot to tell you guys about The Ruthless Fox's army," Mysterion blurted out apologetically.

"It's fine, we had a lot going on anyway, just tell us now," Super Craig said warming his hands.

Mysterion thought for a little bit, trying to remember the details. Then he finally said,

"They're army is called the 'Kizuato' which is what Bradley talked about, I'm pretty sure it means scar, their called this because every solider has some type of wound made from the harsh training they do. The Ruthless Fox is the one we need to defeat, he has now taken over The Kingdom of Kuatiou, which used to be ruled by Prince Sinou" Mysterion explained while drying his hair with the towel from his backpack.

"Is there anything else we should know?" Mosquito asked.

"Well, the Kizuato army isn't ruled by The Ruthless Fox, it's ruled by a general called "General Bloodworth," he's The Ruthless Fox's nephew, everyone respects him, even the Ruthless Fox himself."

Mysterion thought he heard Mosquito mumble "man I wish I was that special."

Mysterion laughed and pushed him playfully.

"Do you have any plans to get pass his army and defeat the Ruthless Fox yet?" Super Craig asked while yawning.

"I was hoping the voices would tell me soon," Mysterion said looking nervously at the ground.

"We can always just kill all the soldiers and then kill this Ruthless fox guy," Mosquito suggested.

"It's not as easy as you make it sound, and plus we don't have to kill everyone," Super Craig spat.

Super Craig looked outside the cave; he saw that it was getting very dark now.

"We should probably just call it a night, besides the voices might talk to Mysterion in his sleep," Super Craig said.

After Mosquito lit out the fire and everyone said they're goodnight's, Mysterion fell asleep and found himself sitting near a cherry blossom tree, the world around was all dark so he figured this was just a dream. Hello...Mysterion was it? Mysterion tilted his head in surprise. Usually the voices were speaking all together, but this voice it was just one particular one.

"Y-yes that's me" Mysterion stuttered.

"I am Yui your guide for this journey, I will teach you how to be a leader," the voice said.

Mysterion stood up.

"What are you talking about. I AM A LEADER" he shouted in protest.

"Not a proper one that is" Yui replied back.

"I don't need teaching; all I need to know is how to defeat The Ruthless Fox and his army" Mysterion said sternly.

"Well if you want to you should probably wake up, then shouldn't you?" Yui stated.

The blossom tree disappeared. Mysterion's head started get a headache, and his heart beat rapidly.

"WHO ARE YOU, SHOW YOURSELF" yelled Mysterion

"I already told you, I'm Yui" the voice said.

Then Mysterion woke up breathing fast, he hadn't realized it, but he was sweating everywhere. The other two weren't awake yet, so he decided to walk to a nearby pond, he sat in front of the water and washed his face. He took a deep breath in and out.

"Yui help me."
