Super Craig had drawn a map of the blazing path on a piece of paper, in the map it showed that the path led to a portal, which would probably lead to Amaranth. So now they had a solid plan, they would have to walk through half of the forest, then a bridge, and finally reach a grassy clearing where the portal would be. They had started walking first thing in the morning, so they were a bit drowsy.
"How are you so sure we'll find a portal?" Super Craig asked.
"I've been studying and doing research on this stuff," Mysterion replied back while yawning.
"Have a little faith in our captain Craig," Mosquito said sarcastically.
Mysterion was too deep in thought to notice Mosquito's stupid nicknames. What is an Agar, who do I have to outwit, and what do pockets have to do with anything? he thought angrily. Why couldn't the voices just talk to him like a normal person, then just giving him clues. He was tired and wasn't in the mood to guess what the voices meant.
"Hey Kenny, did you hear what I said?" Mosquito said.
Mosquito's voice popped his thoughts.
"Y-yes, what is it?" Mysterion responded, hoping they didn't notice him dozing off.
Super Craig apparently did and asked him,
"Were the voices talking to you again?" Super Craig asked.
Mysterion wanted to lie and say no, he didn't want his friends to start getting worried, but he knew lying wouldn't do any good.
"Yeah, they were talking about an Agar, outwitting someone, and pockets," Mysterion replied back plainly.
During the walk, Mosquito and Super Craig both questioned him some more about what the voices said, which were similar to the ones Mysterion thought of. They finally reached the bridge which looked like one of those wooden arched ones and it was over a pond, it looked fairly old, mostly because it had cracks in it and moss grew on the edges. Super Craig was about to cross the bridge, but then Mysterion stopped him.
"We have to make sure the bridge is safe first" Mysterion said picking up a heavy looking rock.
Then, he and threw it on the bridge. Silence. Nothing happened so they started walking toward the bridge, but then a thump, thump sound came from the bottom of the bridge. They all froze.
"Who dares to disturb The Great Agar" hissed a deep voice from the bottom of the bridge.
A big troll came up the bridge and stood in front of them, the troll had green-bumpy skin and one eye, like a cyclops. The three looked at each other and knew this was the Agar the voices were talking about.
"We need to pass the bridge so we can get to Amaranth" Mosquito said.
"Let's make a deal then" Agar said smiling mischievously.
"Hold up a second," Super Craig said.
Then the three huddled up far enough that Agar couldn't hear them and had a group discussion.
"I heard stories about trolls, they never play nice, we shouldn't trust him" Super Craig whispered.
"I agree with Craig, TROLLS ARENT VERY TRUSTWORTHY," said Mosquito loud enough for Agar to hear
"I heard that!" Agar yelled back.
"We should just kill him, and then cross the bridge," whispered Mosquito.
Mysterion actually thought that was an option, but he didn't want to kill anyway right now. Pocket, his pocket, outwit, the voices said. Outwit his pocket? Mysterion thought, that didn't make sense though. While his friends were still talking about ways to kill Agar, Mysterion looked over at Agar's pockets, and saw something sparkling. Then he immediately knew what he had to do. He walked over to the bridge again and stood in front of Agar.
"Oi what are you doing?" Mosquito shouted.
"Let's make a deal."
