Mysterion recognized that cough, it wasn't just any type of cough it was... oh no, no, no, please don't be them, it can't be them, why they would stay up this late? he thought. He didn't dare turn around, but his curiosity took over him, he turned around and walked over to the next hall, and he saw his friends all crowded, where he saw Kyle coughing.
"Great Kyle you blew our cover" Clyde said bluntly.
"It's not my fault there's dust everywhere" Kyle whispered back,
Mysterion noticed that they all were wearing their costumes too,
"He can hear us you know" Craig said loudly.
"What are you guys doing here" Mysterion said a little harshly.
The group of friends looked at each other then nodded.
"We've been stalking you" Bradley said ever so casually.
Mysterion stared blankly at him.
"What did you see?" he asked sharply,
"well- "Kyle was about to say something, but then Clyde cut him off "enough to know what you're planning, we're coming with you whether you like it or not."
Mysterion looked at Clyde straight in the eye for about 5 seconds straight, then started laughing. Mysterion was not as open when he was Kenny, but when he wore the mask as Mysterion he felt more confident, mostly because he's their leader, so he wasn't afraid to tell his companions what he thought.
"You guys are going to stay here, and that's final" Mysterion spat.
"We can't just leave you on your own" Bradley said fidgeting with his hands.
"I appreciate the thought, but even if you guys did come, who would protect the city from crime?" Mysterion said.
There was a long pause of silence.
"Exactly so that is why- "he was about to lecture them but then Kyle interrupted,
"I will."
"I will too" joined in Bradley.
Mysterion looked at both of them in a shocked way, Kyle and Bradley both looked at their leader with a serious face. Am I really going to agree to this...? he thought.
"We can do this Mysterion" Craig said confidently.
"We even packed our bags for this" Clyde said joining in.
Mysterion looked at the ground, then at his allies, he sighed then said,
"Alright...let's do this."
