"YOU LOOK EXQUISITE!" LYRA GASPED as she zipped up my navy blue dress and I smiled as I stood in front of the mirror,

"I love it" I said in awe, (outfits at the end of the chapter scroll down!)

"you look like a princess Mara" she said softly and I hugged her,

"come on let's get you into your dress" I said and she stepped into it and held it up against her as I zipped up the back,

"it compliments your skin beautifully George is going to love it" I exclaimed and she smiled widely.

I slipped on my silver heels and sprayed on some perfume, slipping lip gloss and a hair tie into the dresses pockets.

"are we forgetting anything?" Lyra asked once she had put her shoes on,

"no I think we're ready"

"and just on time" she said glancing at the clock, we both left and made our way down the stairs carefully trying not to trip in our heels. We made it down and were met with Enzo who was wearing an expensive black suit and Xilo who was in a deep maroon one. Enzo cleared his throat as Xilo smiled at us widely,

"you both look stunning" Enzo said softly,

"you two look look especially handsome tonight as well" Lyra said and we all smiled leaving the Ravenclaw common room.

"I'm so nervous" I said placing my hand over my stomach,

"don't be you look amazing come on time to go in, I'll see you at the party" she said as Xilo and Enzo walked down the stairs into the ball and I took a deep breath and began to walk down the stairs.

I spotted Adrian in an expensive perfectly fitted navy blue suit, his eyes met mine and he smiled widely as I walked up to him. Placing my hand on his shoulder I leaned up a little which was easier due to my heels and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek. 

"you look wow-I mean y-you look amazing, bloody hell" he stammered and I smiled feeling my face heat up,

"you look amazing as well, what are the odds?" I said referring to our outfits and he laughed locking our elbows together, leaning down to ear level grazing his lips against my ear.

"Fred has been staring since you walked down and he looks furious" he whispered and I bit my lip which Adrian noticed,

"oh that didn't help at all" he teased and I turned glancing at Fred who was standing with Ava, who was in a white dress, talking to Fred who's eyes were on me and I smirked as he swallowed and Ava stopped talking to follow his gaze and her expression turned sour. I looked away and back up at Adrian,

"this is going to be a long night"

Once all the champions had danced we were all invited to the dance floor,

"look at you, you haven't stepped on my toes once!"  I teased Adrian and he laughed,

"yes well after mum realized how horrid of a dancer I was she made sure to change that" he said and I laughed,

"how is she by the way?" I asked looking up at him and I was suddenly aware his hand on my hip and his chest against mine,

"she's w-well, disappointed I haven't written to let her know of our wedding yet" he said and my mouth fell open,

"is she honestly still on about that?" I said trying not to laugh as he twirled me around and caught me again,

"oh Adrian she's beautiful! oh Adrian she'll be an amazing wife! such perfect hips for children" he mocked his mother and I burst into laughter causing people to look at me and I covered my mouth, and Adrian laughed at my embarrassment.
