Chapter 18

Kriz's POV

"Kriz, hindi sa nangingialam ako pero, don't you think what you did is too much? " Ellie said.

Nandito kami sa eroplano ngayon. We're on our way to Jeju Island. Taehyung is also with us, nakaupo sya sa upuan sa likod namin ni Ellie. I wanted to tour around Jeju in my remaining vacation time.

"I did what is right. "

She groaned "you did what you think is right! " She emphasized 'think'. Well she's right, i did what i think is right, and I'm not going back on what i did.

You must be curious why we're on our way to Jeju. At first i considered going back to the Philippines, but i knew there will be chances that i meet my ex there and make my mind in turmoil again. So i decided to go back to Jeju. I'm convinced that Namjoon won't look for me because it's been a week since i told Namjoon to stop and i haven't seen him since then.

To be honest, that night i want to take back everything i said and go back straight to Namjoon and hug him. Even from afar i can hear his cries. I know I've hurt him so much. But i stand firm with my decision and decided not to go back to him. It's for the best, once he moved on from me he'll live a happy life just like before he knew me.

"He'll be hurt more if i kept on making him wait, alam mo na hindi ko makokontrol ng maayos ang nararamdaman ko hanggat may katiting na pagtingin pa ako kay Denz. Ayokong sagutin ko sya ng hindi ako sigurado sa nararamdaman ko. "

She sighed " i know you're going through a lot. I just hope you really move on from your ex. All he did to you was hurt you and give you heartaches everytime you're with him. "

I nodded. Alam ko naman yon, that why I'm not choosing either Namjoon or my ex.

When i was in Jeju last time, i didn't get to roam around, i just rented a unit and stayed there for whole two weeks, crying and overthinking. There was even a time where the landlady went to my unit to check if I'm still alive and breathing because not even once i was seen going out, occupants of other units reported that i might be dead, i almost laugh when i heard the rumor that they smell a horrible stench coming from my unit.

They were all surprised when i faced the landlady and let her into my unit to check if i was hiding something. When she's done, she apologized and told me that i can talk to her if i have any problems, she's a great lady and a very friendly one. She's just worried for the well being of other occupants. I told her i understand and will see her before i go back to Seoul.

After that, i continued on thinking. And that's all i could think of. Avoid Namjoon and my ex and move on from my life.

After an hour of flight we landed to Jeju, it's a good thing that the unit i rented was still available and there's another unit being rented out so we decided to go there. I greeted the landlady and she hugged me with a smile.

We've become very close since the time she checked me on my unit. She visits me often and offers me food while we chat, she helped me clear my mind and adviced me to do what i think is right, and so i did.

"You're here with friends? " She asked when she saw Taehyung and Ellie behind me.

"Yes, this is Ellie my best friend and Taehyung, her boyfriend. "I introduced them to the landlady before the landlady led us to our unit.

We'll be there for more than three weeks before we all go back to the Philippines.

Ellie and i went to different shops on our first day in Jeju, Taehyung was always whining like a kid because he couldn't get close to Ellie while Ellie kept sticking to me.

"Why don't you go to your boyfriend before he throws a tantrum here? Look at his face, he look stressed. " I told Ellie before laughing.

I felt Taehyung's glare, Ellie and i both looked at him, both of his hands held paperbags and plastic bags containing foods and things that we bought. Taehyung pouted when he saw us looking at him. "you're keeping my baby away from me. "

I raised an eyebrow "which baby? " I asked.

He went to Ellie's side and hugged her "both of them "

We continued to tour around Jeju, we spent an entire week only doing that, it also helped me to keep my mind busy.
Especially when the news broke out that an actress was seen with a man, and that man is Namjoon, a hot bachelor and the youngest CEO in Seoul as what the news described him.
The news said they were dating and suited each other very much.
Of course it tore my heart to pieces, Ellie kept asking me if I'm alright after that. I can't let her see that the news hurt me and kept on pretending that i was okay.

At first i was envious, seeing Ellie and Taehyung love each other so much. If only i was brave enough like Ellie and did what she has done before, but of course it's her own story to tell so i won't spoil it for her.

After a few days, i got used to seeing them kiss each other in public, they're not even embarrassed of what they're doing so why would i be? It's their own life and I don't want to tell them what to do.

Now it was just Ellie and me, we'll be spending two days without Taehyung because he went back to Seoul, he'll be there for two days because their grandfather was sent to hospital caused by a heart attack.

At first Ellie and i wanted to go back too, the old man has been good to us and wanted to know if he's alright, but Taehyung insisted that he'll go back alone and he'll be back after two days.

We gave up and just told Taehyung that we're hoping for their grandfather's fast recovery.

"So ano ang balak natin gawin ngayon? " Tanong ni Ellie.

"Bakit hindi nalang tayo bumalik sa market na pinuntahan natin nung first day natin dito? Madami pa tayong hindi nakikita don kasi laging sumisingit jowa mo. " I replied.

She immediately agreed and got ourselves ready and went out after a quick change of clothes. I put an extra scarf on Ellie because it's chilly and she's pregnant, she needs extra care now that the baby's father is busy and not here.

We were near the market's entrance when a woman grabbed my hand.

"P-please help me.." she cried, obviously she's a beggar, she wears ragged shoes and her clothes were dirty and thin. Not enough to keep her warm in this weather.

Ellie and i led her to somewhere warm enough and gave her a scarf.

I told Ellie to look after her because i will go and buy a soup for the woman to keep her body warm, but then before i could even take a step, once again i felt someone covered my nose with a cloth and i was slowly losing my consciousness, but before i closed my eyes i saw Ellie being held the same way i am, with a cloth covering her nose and i felt we were being dragged by unknown men before i completely blacked out.
