I stepped inside with him closing my eyes and was shivering from head to toe.

"Open them and see." Jasper said tapping my cheeks.

I obeyed him and what I saw next was mesmerizing. Huge stacks of books. The books itself was shining from outside. The room was brightened up with the light coming out of the books.

"Firstly, I'm alive. Great!! But why the books are shimmering? Have you put something in it?"

"Every book has their own seal. The light what you see is like a lock that's binding the book. This was the same thing that you saw once on the roof." he smiled.

"Oh yes. Something was sparkling in the corner but before I could reach it, you pulled me back. Huh!!" I smirked.

"I wasn't sure if revealing myself to you is safe for both of us or not. There are many eyes on us." he moved to one of the stack and started to look for something.

Many eyes on us? We are being watched? Hmm... something seems off.

Vannesa was busy writing down some weird names into the register and Jasper was digging himself inside few books.

"Can anyone tell me actually why we are here in this enormous book store?" I yelled in middle of the room.

"To find the location of Melisandre. Witch's are allowed only to live in a certain places. I doubt she's hiding or settling herself somewhere here in this town. We can get clues from these books." Jasper said getting down from a pile.

He seated himself on a chair and raised his hand after uttering some unknown spells. Suddenly a brown book popped out from a shelf and flew towards Jasper.

Whoa!! Am I really watching all these things? Lucky lady. Clinging on to Jasper was a right decision.

He placed the book on the table and said something like 'Tolaluscricio' and the spark inside the book faded away making it look like a normal one. Jasper opened the book and Vannesa came hurriedly to us. To my surprise the book was totally blank.

"You did all this for those blank pages? Sad. Work on your skills Mr. Wizard."

"Aren't you judging me too soon?" he looked at Vannesa and they laughed.

Vannesa took some crystals out of her hoodie's pocket and placed them on the book.

Is she doing some black magic? Damn!!! This looks appealing.

After two minutes of continuous chanting, she took the crystals back and asked Jasper to open it again. Basically she said her spells so slowly that it was completely inaudible.

Jasper slowly opened the book and to my astonishment the pages were filled with some writings.

"OMG!!! Did those crystals made it possible? What are they?" My eyes bulged out.

"The most rarest crystals present in this universe and all of them are owned by me. Amethyst, Amazonite, Turquoise and Obsidian were used here. These are correlated by platonic solids that emits different energy and puts out certain powers. That's what happened here. A little bit of sorcery and TA-DA!!!" She patted my shoulder and returned to her table.

Everything was new to me and probably taking all of them together in just one day was too much. Learning about magic and watching them is completely a different vibe. I shifted my mind from crystals to the book.

"What kind of language is this? Doesn't look like English." I asked while going through each line.

"It's Gothic language. Now it's extinct in your world but we still use them. This book will hint us many things on Melisandre."

"And my instinct says that the journey towards her will be challenging." I replied.

"You became clever staying with me huh? Nice. I like that. Things are getting clear for you." He mocked.

Argghhhh!! Why did I even think about joining him? I must get my horoscope checked soon.
