Well if he's somewhere near me then we can actually have frequent talks I guess. After washing the dishes and cleaning the house, I decided to take a round on my terrace. It was almost going to be dark. Locking Tinder inside with some snacks, I took the elevator and reached on the top.
The gust of wind flung warmth into my face. As I was relishing the weather, a little far by the corner I saw a tremulous light glimmering. Taking few baby steps I moved towards it's direction to have a closer look.
Suddenly someone grabbed my hand from behind and pulled towards itself. That same guy. His blonde hair and well defined muscles was attracting me even more. He was in a black hoodie and his eyes was gazing sharp through me.
"What are you doing here Miss....?" He stopped.
"Ray."
"Yeah. I'm Jasper. Why are you here at this hour?" He asked releasing my hand.
"I usually spend my evenings looking at the sunsets here but I saw some sort of light from the corner and ....." I looked back to check if it's still there but surprisingly it wasn't.
"Where? I cannot see anything there." He said looking at my direction.
That was quite confusing because ofcourse I am not day dreaming.
"Never mind. So.... You are new here right?" I asked Jasper who was continuously staring at me.
Can he be a pervert? Mum use to say all handsome men are perverts. Lol.
"Yes. I'm coming all the way from Mauritius." He smiled.
"Wow!!! Amazing place it is. Are you here for studying? Or ..?" He doesn't look like a business man to me.
"I'm here in search of something." He stopped smiling.
"Don't tell me you are searching for your girlfriend." I started to laugh like an idiot. This was the lamest joke I could ever make.
"Nope. Something more important." He said.
"Oh! Well I guess I'm your new neighbour here. If you need anything just let me know. I stay diagonally opposite to your flat." I have no idea why I said that.
"Whoah! Are you trying to say that I should come to your flat someday and....." He stopped.
"NO!!!!!! That's not what I wanted to----" he cut me in between.
"I know. I was just kidding. Get back to your room safely. See you around Ms. Neighbour." He laughed mockingly and left.
Why am I so dumb? He easily teased me and I couldn't say one word. Honestly this guy is giving me completely different vibe. I feel different near him. I'm going nuts but honestly I'm LOVING it.
