Chapter 29 : Divulgence

Jasper didn't explained much and asked others to stay in his apartment as he wants to be alone with me. Ivy, Valquor and Vanessa left and he asked me to sit beside him.

"What's going on Jasper. I actually couldn't get you earlier." I asked

"You remember the day I saved you from falling off the roof?"

"How can I ever forget that. Nobody forgets their second chances. But what about that?"

"That day my mother came here with a message and she found out that I had done things against the rules. But before she could punish me, her eyes wandered at you. She said she felt a strong energy inside you. Before I could understand anything, she hovered her hands towards you and was suddenly taken aback. My mother narrated that your great great grandmother used to perform dangerous black magic with voodoo dolls that once killed a living person. By that time, every dark entity had left her side and later the Wiccan high priest with my mother attended her to punish. But to escape death your grandmother begged to spare her and instead she can give anyone from the family who will be used by the Coven community to help us when we will need that person the most. Only the high priest knew who it would be and it was never disclosed." He stopped and looked at me.

"So you mean that person is me?"

"The reason why I was pulled towards you at first sight was because you were the chosen one. That day when you fell and when I came for your rescue, it was all fated years back. You have been blessed with a good spirit. My mother asked me to make use of you in finding the wand that would help you freeing yourself from the responsibilities. Even though I had no plans to take you but somehow you always ended up being with me that urged me to stay with you too. I thought it was high time to speak out the reason for including you in this mess. I'm sorry for not letting you know this sooner." Jasper kneeled down.

I wasn't feeling betrayed at all. I did it out of my will and me helping them is nothing to do with what my ancestor did. I'm more glad to know that I was gifted with capabilities.

"All I know is I love you. I don't want to understand what happened in the past. I'll give my everything to seek your wand." I went down to him and pressed my head on his shoulders.

Jasper wore a white tee with black jeans and his hair was half wet from the shower. His strong perfume was awakening my body. Not only he looked handsome but way too attractive for me to hold back. He lifted me up and took me to the bed.

He lingers for a moment on my lips before finally lifting his head to meet my eyes, and that we kissed. Very softly and then intensely.

I can’t help it.

I’m drawn in by the force and pressure of the tempest building in those damnable eyes. Jasper lowered himself and dug his head on my chest, hugging me gently. I ran my fingers through his hair and noticed the ring. After a while we both fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up early to practice my spell. Hours passed and slowly I was able to keep the pace with it. Jasper stayed with me the whole time and helped me learn without stressing too much. His presence was enough to comfort me.

I must thank my great great grandmother for letting me meet my soulmate. Jasper is the best thing happened to me.
