I could see Melisandre's eyes turning completely black. Now this is what legends say about 'possessed by the dark magic' looks like. Not only was she looking dreadful but menacing enough to scare a human like me. It took me a little while to gather my thoughts together and do what I should be.
Making sure that I'm still wearing the ring given by Ivy, I slowly started to pour water inside the bowl. Putting some Black Tourmaline crystals in the water, I started to chant 'Praesidium' in my head. On the other side Vannesa was throwing some sharp red crystals on Melisandre but all in vain. She was able to tackle almost every power coming from Vannesa.
Pouring 6 drops of Wiccan oil and two drops of blood from the pendant, I decided to write the word '𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌴𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌹𐌿𐌼' with the chalk but suddenly stopped by a whisper. I slowly turned towards the black mirror hanging on the wall beside me. to my shock I saw myself inside the mirror, cutting my own veins. I was baffled to witness this vision. When I was about get up from my place and move towards it, that's when I was interrupted by Jasper's voice. "Don't get yourself carried away by this mirror Ray. Come back to your senses".
Hearing his voice was like a shield to my inner soul. They will be always be awakened when he talks to me. Knowing what I was going to do, I became more determined in completing what I have started. I again picked the golden chalk and wrote '𐍀𐍂𐌰𐌴𐍃𐌹𐌳𐌹𐌿𐌼' without thinking much. I'm very much aware of the illusion Melisandre is trying to create.
All set for the final step. The spells. My guard can be the only thing to make her stop stop hurting them.
I again looked to what is going with my people. Four sorcerers fighting just one witch made realize how powerful that wand is. I can see everyone getting exhausting one by one.
Without making her completely weak, nobody in this entire world can take over her. And I knew very well now that I am capable of doing so. Nobody knew how badly I wanted to taker her in any cost that I may pay today. After lightening the candles around the circle, I took the bowl inside the circle placing it in the middle. Taking Grimoire in my hand I chanted my spell:
Earth element, mother of trees and gems,
Air element of winds and change,
Fire element of sweeping rebirth,
"Shhhh.... what are you doing Ray. Don't do this. She'll kill us if you continue this"
A voice very familiar to me hushed into my ears. I looked back to see and it was...
"Mum....!!" I lost my words.
"Me and your dad is waiting outside. You should come with us. These people are nothing to you but we are. Aren't we love? Get up, lets leave"
"I.... mum, wait! Where's the silver bracelet I gave you previous month?"
"Oh dear! I think I forgot that in our car. Come outside with me. You can help me wearing it again."
"I'm sorry mum I cannot, because I never gave you one."
"STOP MAKING ME ANGRY RAY. COME OUT NOW!" She screamed through the room.
I knew she couldn't touch me until I'm inside the circle. I continued with my spells again.
Water element of peace and power,
I call you forth from your realm,
to guide and guard me and the others,
in this circle set outside of time.
Open for me the gates of shield!
"You'll regret this......" She faded away into the black mirror. I'm sure my mum will never say such things to her own daughter.

I opened my eyes and looked at Jasper. The spell was working slowly. Not only the spell protected him but he also regained his energy and power 10 folds. Next It was Ivy, then Valquor and Vannesa. It was magical to see your stuff working. There was anger and rage in Melisandre's eyes. Not even with that wand she was able to break my shield. It was for sure the most powerful one of all. Everything was going good when few minutes passed by and I was starting to feel nausea and dizzy.
What's happening to me now?
I felt weak and painful.
